Stepdad is doin okay, minus side effects of radiation. Was exhausted for quite a few days, after using what energy he had available at the time, each day= quite a few ear!y nites. slow!y but sure!y

I'm glad your stepfather is doing OK. I had 41 sessions of radiation, but unfortunately it did not kill the cancer. My PSA and testosterone levels kept going up and the cancer spread to my lymph nodes. Currently, getting hormone injections of Lupron 45mg and it has resulted in lower PSA and testosterone levels. I have to get blood work taken every month to check the levels. Appears like I'll have to have injections every 6 months. I'll never be cancer free, but at least it can be managed at this time.
