Coming off a 3-2 (+8.50) day. Have 4 plays for today and am posting them early as I anticipate line movement not in my favor in all 4 of these games.

5* Philadelphia -1.5 (+145) 5Dimes
5* Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (+160) 5Dimes
5* San Francisco -1.5 (-145) 5Dimes
5* Toronto -1.5 (+125) 5Dimes

Good luck everyone!

I like the Dodgers tomorrow Ted. Even though they just ass raped me tonight. Terrible feeling to be winning a game for 8 innings and the closer comes in and blows it for you in 3 batters.

I know the feeling. Marlins burnt me today with another come from ahead loss and the Dodgers burnt me for the 6th straight time, but tomorrow, the pitching match-up is the same as these two just met in Atlanta with the Dodgers winning 9-1.

Thanks Cash. I'm trying my best. Got burnt with the Marlins and the Dodgers again but still a positive day. Best of luck to you.

I think the Marlins should be avoided or faded from this point Ted, they are a team with many issues & appear to be in a spiral as do the pirates.

Ted,
Very nice selections today. The one thing I hate, even though it's a good pick, is laying minus money for -1.5. But, Giants should roll today! Thanks.

Ted, when it is convenient, give me a howdie. I too am retired and have a few sports thoughts I would like to discuss. I have been into sports betting since '70.

Well as you can see, my first posted play for today is against the Marlins. Just incredible how they blew two significant leads against the Nationals in there last series. As for the Pirates, they basically have given the team away so you're spot on there as well.

Thank you. As for the laying the heavy juice on the RL tonight, I completely understand. If you have been reading my threads this year, you would have seen that I am looking for + money plays whether on the ML or RL or lay very minimal juice. I wouldn't even lay -145 on the ML ordinarily so the Giants game tonight is definitely unique to my style. That being said however also indicates that, although anything can happen in sports, Lincecum is an absolute beast and has an extra day of rest as does the whole Giants team and this team is now much better with the addition of Sanchez at second and Garko at first have made the Giants hitting improve significantly and particularly at home. Meanwhile, the lowly Reds travel across country after having played yesterday and are playing awful and Bailey won't stop the Giants bats and the Reds won't be able to hit Lincecum. So in this particular situation I'm willing to step out a bit more on the RL juice.

Glad to see a fellow retiree enjoying sports betting for just about the same length of time. I took down your e-mail address and will get back to you in the future.

Yes! I got a good price on them but my other 3 plays, the line moved the wrong way for me. Normally, I have a pretty decent sense of which direction the overnight lines are going to move in the morning. That's alright as long as they play out well. Best of luck tonight.

A handicapper I respect very highly once told me that runlines are the worse bet anyone can make in baseball....it seems as if everyone on the board lately is following this trend? Am I missing something? The few times I do bet it, I always lose. Thanks

I can only speak for myself as the RL is where I have my greatest success. Check my thread in the Tracker Forum. Are you losing the game by the half run or losing the game anyway. If I took an estimated 15 games that I have lost by 1 run this year and put them in the win column, I would be hitting around 58% or better but the amount of money earned would be less because of losses from some large ML's which I played as RL's. At the moment, I'm just above 50% but because of the success of the RL's + return, I'm farther ahead of the game then if I had played the ML's. Bottom line is you have to be able to cap winners first and then apply the RL to make them no to low juice plays looking for + return.

When you win all 4 plays the juice will not matter:103631605
