Well, the Dodgers are barely visible in the chase for the last wild card spot in the National League. They are currently 3 games behind St. Louis and 0.5 games behind Milwaukee with 12 games to play. They come off losing 2 out of 3 against the Nationals and now take on the Reds who just clinched the NL Central. However, Cincinnati is battling Washington for home field advantage throughout the playoffs and won't let up in this spot. Blanton has been of little value to the Dodgers while Arroyo has been steady throughout the season. Mentally, the Dodgers have likely thrown in the towel.

Year To Date Record: (10-13)(-10.86)

5* (3-4)(-7.20)
1* (7-9)(-3.66)

5* Cincinnati -130

Good luck everyone!

Thank you my friend! Being a Giants fan, watching the Dodgers falling out of the playoffs makes me smile. They spent all that money thinking they could buy a championship and all that happened is they got worse and made the Giants focused. Best of luck to you as well tonight! :toast:

My old high school is now number one in the state OMT and takes on the dirtest team on the schedule tonight. We better have those chin straps buckled up tight. The closet I ever came to being ejected from a high school football game was against this team. Kid keep hitting me in my manhood on the bottom of the pile. After halftime, he tried it one more time and I tee'd off on him. The officals finally got us separated but nowadays, I would get runned for throwing a punch. Jackass deserved it. Got to go and pull them through but will check back on MLB scores late this evening. BOL.

JB,

What position did you play in HS? Always good to hear these types of stories. I hope your HS crushes those rivals tonight!

I played Center and LB. Started Varsity Center Junior and Senior years and was All State my last year and played in the Hardee's North South All Star Game with Tony Rice who went on to play at Notre Dame. I was not bad for my size and could have played at smaller schools but not with the Big Boys we see nowadays. I had a very good high school career and my friends and family still relive those glory days when we get together even though the grey around the ears is starting to show.

I hope your alma mater shows up better then the Panthers did last night! If not, you might have to suit up and go out there and knock some heads! @)

That was not the Carolina Panthers but the Carolina Kittens on display last night. Horrible performance. Can't believe I bought into the hype after they knocked off NO last week. Talk about crashing back down to earth. Gotta run. BOL OMT and will check those MLB scores later on.
