Bailey started once against the Rockies at home on 8/1 and went 5.1 innings, gave up 7 hits, 5 earned runs, 1 HR, 4 strikeouts, 2 walks and a .350 batting average on 100 pitches. Meanwhile, Jimenez started once against the Reds on the road on 8/1 and went 8 innings, gave up 5 hits, 2 earned runs, 1 HR, 8 strikeouts, 0 walks and a .179 batting average on 111 pitches in a match with Bailey and a 6-2 win.
