Oldman's 5* Selection - Baltimore/L.A. Angels

Baltimore coming off a come from ahead loss to Boston yesterday giving up 4 runs in the top of the 9th and now travelling across the country to play the Angels. Guthrie pitched 5 innings last outing against Washington giving up 3 runs. He doesn't have over powering stuff and may find it difficult pitching through this Angels line-up. Meanwhile, Lackey coming off an excellent outing throwing 7 scoreless innings, giving up 5 hits and striking out 9 at Arizona. Angels coming off battle for division lead against the Rangers dropping 2 or 3, but their bats were alive. Tough spot for Orioles IMHO.

Completely agree. The only thing that worries me is that this is the first game back off of a road trip for the Angels. Hopefully they don't sleepwalk through the game.

also line has barely moved, IF at all.. and with 80% of betters on the angels, this is never a good sign

sorry to bring the bad news but i am on baltimore for a number of reasons. mainly guthrie has a .50 whip on angels in his career and also baltimore batting .286 last 7 games. rather than seeing it as they had a hard loss giving up 4 runs in the 9th i see it as motivation for today for them to bounce back. good luck tho
