Bad match-up for the Colts in this game as their running offense (70 ypg) is hurting without Addai going up against a run defense that allows only (90 ypg) and their run defense can't stop anyone yielding (154 ypg) going up against a two headed monster in Johnson and White with a team average of (153 ypg). Colts defense has S Sanders as doubtful and CB Hayden expected to miss. Manning without a run game will be under pressure as the game progresses and will find it difficult to move the ball consistently against the Titans. Meanwhile, Collins will find holes in the Colts secondary as the defense gets softened up by the running game and comes up to stop the run. Colts continue to get line respect and the Titans continue to fly under the radar. This team is for real and took the Colts out 16-10 last year at home and the Colts are a struggling weak defensive team with limited offense, while the Titans are a much better team then last year both offensively and defensively. Hence,

5* Tennessee -4 (+100) Matchbook

Year To Date Record: 14-13 (+2.24)

5* (1-0)(+5.00)
4* (5-3)(+7.72)
3* (2-6)(-13.35)
2* (2-1)(+1.90)
1* (4-3)(+0.97)

Ted i agree but how can line be only 4 ?

Great to hear from you and hope you're well. Because the public absolutely loves the Colts because of Manning so the linesmaker keeps it low, while the Titans have yet to be seen on the nationwide stage. Money is still coming in on the Colts. Saw some 3.5's. As you know, I look at fundamental match-ups and this is all Titans.

I had this rated as a large play as well Ted, imo line should be 6+, people/public living on past Colt teams. Hope to see you at the cashiers window. :103631605

i think the line is minus -4 because people done have confidence in teams that win game with defense and everyone is still on the indy bandwagon from the last couple years.

Hope all is well with yourself but for some reason i smell a rat here and looking at the teams the Titans beat so far it really doesnt tell me much . The way i look at it is if there is 1 guy that can beat you by himself it would be P Manning and if there is a guy that can go in the tank it could be K Collins but thats just my 2 cents ..... as always good luck to you and like i always said you are one of the classiest guys on this site!!:103631605

Agree! Defense wins championships and also dictates the way games are played. Remember the Bucs and the Ravens winning without much at QB?

OMT, I am on the TITs as well.

Don't understand this reasoning Ted. Money is coming in on Colts, yet

Line's going down, aren't they begging for TITs $$$ by lowering the lines? :toast:

No! That is the public pounding the Colts as their love affair continues with Manning. IMHO, he cannot do it alone. No running game. Should be under pressure throughout. Defense in a world of hurt and can't stop the run. I've got to go with the fundamentals.

Was going to lay off this game but my line fell to -3.5. Bought the Hook. Like TENN!

there is also a strong correlation between turnovers and winning ats. Who do you think is more turnover prone in this game? I would have to say Payton is good for at least one int and Tennessee's defense should force a fumble or two as well. I think that as long as Collins can keep from making to many mistakes Tennessee should run all over the colts.

Dammit...I have the opposite of you which is driving me nuts... I think the colts running game has more to do with the O-line and less to do with the RBs....I really think the O-line has a better night tonight and open some running lanes...
