If you're not in one of these SIX books, your money is AT PERIL. They won't all go down this year, but many will and still others will start the downward spiral.

Of course I'm not going to name the six, but anyone with a brain should be able to figure it out.

Here are some hints:

1. They take wiseguy action (you can't run from these guys).

2. They know how to move off of wiseguy action to limit their exposure.

3. They take a lot of square and whale action.

4. They don't advertise very much (the "crisis" you're reading about is at the sites where advertising is going to mean less and less as the big six emerge as the only safe places).

5. No bonuses beyond the typical small comps they give to regular players.

6. Sharp, SHARP lines (see 1 above).

7. No moving on air.

The only way to stop the wiseguys is to limit the total number of places they can get down.

A few HUMONGOUS offshore places will be going down this football season, and it's going to be ugly. Players would be wise to keep their balances low right before the college bowls hit, as that's when the problems are going to peak.

NOTE: some of the survivors will be MERGERS between top books, so the list is actually a little longer than six.

Surely you understand the need for discretion.

Fact is, no one really knows who will survive, but it'll be clear soon enough. The money will just gravitate to these outs and leave everyone else in the vacuum.

I do know of a few who won't survive, and because I have to avoid them now, I'm seeking out the safe places, the ones who are like the large local outs in the big cities (who also take wiseguy action and use it as a line service).

Those who visit this and other sites should be aware that recommendations aren't what they used to be, and that a lot of scammers are moving into the casino/sportsbook business.

Sad, but true.

Some of your points are valid but just the opposite is going to happen. More and more books will be popping up. The cats out of the bag and this industry is growing like a weed.

I know more than six will "survive," but then there's the merger factor. Look at radio and the same thing is happening here. There will be a snowball effect where the sound bookies gobble up all the money, and overhead starts crushing the smaller operations.

How else do you stop the wiseguys? More outs = more overhead = more middles and more chances to get burned. It also = more advertising (for you), and more bonus money and more affiliate/referral money, etc. This is what's been killing the industry.

Who on this forum would trust a NEW bookie now? You'd have to be INSANE to do that.
