was stuck behind one just now on 35 1 lane due to construction. old man(vegas's age) going like 30 in a 55 and mustve been confused with all the signs, even though the signs direct you where to go.

when i passed him, at the point where you can get into multiple lanes, i could obviously tell he was in his 60's, maybe 70's. and he does what all the old people do, stick out his head to the point where its practically touching the windshield, and clench the steering wheel so tight, that any sudden reaction would make him lose control.

anyone over the age of 65 does not deserve the right to drive a motor vehicle. simple as that.

Using your asinine logic, because one teenager drives like a maniac
and causes an accident therefore no teenagers deserve the right to
drive a motor vehicle. "Simple as that."

Idiot.

Everyone is different. My father is over 65 and he is an excellent driver....never been in an accident. There is nobody I know that I trust more at the wheel when riding in the car. Someone at your age could easily be a shitty driver. It should be based on good testing.

overwhelming majority shouldnt be out there. they get nervous quick, are lead heavy foots with slow reaction times and panic when there on freeways with people consistently going 70 mph.

people who cannot walk and talk simultaneously, should not be allowed out of mommy's basement

that way, driving would not be a concern

I think the old people can drive as long as they drive good and can see with glasses.

why coldweather. majority of accidents are by older people.

they can stick with there hover rounds and take the bus. the road is for people who can react and arn't scared to death of other drivers.

Your points are gooder than mine be so I change my opinion on this here matter. The old people should not drive cars or boats cause they will hurt the people.

Show some proof .

By the way, I love how your age changes with every post.

I remember when it was 27, now it's 24-26. Get your lies straight.

:think2:

he actually had an idea? gosh darn it, I musta missed it

Hear is a guy GTC who is offering us all, the wealth of what he knows and we should all be grateful. If not for GT none of us would have ever known that Obama was our 6th black president or that some pitcher I forget the name
used monkey steroids in the 1880's.

GT is a very amusing poster and I'll miss his nonsense when he leaves for another country. My dad drove until he was 87 and never had an accident,
I hope someday I can say the same!

...But I am all for ramping up road tests & eye tests.

Mandatory road test at age 65 and every two years thereafter. Every year at age 80.
