Okay... why in the world is NYY +103 tomorrow?

I'm a Sox fan and I'm telling you right now, this line is not correct. The Yankees should be favored in this game, TONS of value with them at +103 and I would grab it now while it's hot.

They have a clear pitching advantage, and it's somewhat likely Manny will not be in the line up. I am considering unloading on this game right now.

Boston is awesome at home, but the Yankees are above .500 at Fenway in the last 15 meetings. Sorry, I have to bet against my team tomorrow... and maybe quite large!

Largest play in months on it.... Yankees should be favored by game time especially once Manny sits out again (good chance!)

Again, I understand Boston is one of the best teams in baseball at home, but the Yankees never seem to have a huge problem dealing with them. They have a large pitching advantage, and with the possibility of Manny being out, an advantage with the bats as well.

Factor in that Oki pitched and can't tomorrow, and Delcarmen likely won't be available... I have no clue how the books think New York should be a dog in this spot.

Would love to see the Yanks win tomorrow, but for some reason it always seems as if the Saturday game on Fox ends up going to the Bosox. This series will come down to the Sunday Night game on ESPN.

Yanks are 7-3 when Pettitte starts at Fenway.

Yanks have lost last 4 Saturday games at Fenway.

The O/U is 13-7 in the last 20 games played on a Saturday between the Bombers and the Sox at Fenway.

I think I'm going Over in this one. No Mariano tomorrow after throwing 1 2/3 tonight.

No Mo tomorrow and Boston will be showing their bunk ass bull pen with the exception of Papelbon of course.

We shall see, may play the over as well.

Then again, the O/U is 8-25-1 when the Yanks play during the day this season. Also the O/U is 16-30 when they've played on the road in 08.

The O/U is 1-9 when Pettitte has started on the road this season. It is 1-6 when he has started a day game.

What pitching advantage are you speaking of? Wake is having his best year outside of 2002. His current WHIP 1.16 and current BAA .218, and at Fenway he is has a WHIP of 1.07 and a BAA of .201. That is pretty impressive.

For the year Pettitte has a WHIP of 1.29 and a BAA of .275 with righties hitting .323 off him. On the road his BAA is .280, in line with what the Red Sox hit him at. The Yanks are playing great ball since the break, but they have played two of the lower bottom AL teams who are constant overachievers in Oakland and the Twins.

I think it is a tough game to call, would lean under as both of these guys can pitch deep and it appears this may be a low scoring series. I seem to remember these series going one way or another (low or high scoring) for at least the first 2-3 games they play in a given 3-4 game series.

Wake is not a popular public pitcher and the Yankees are on a mini-run here so the line is very cheap on the Red Sox, going to be tough for me to not end up backing the home team especially if Mo might not be available to close, but I have a feeling he would pitch if it was a save situation regardless of how many pitches he threw tonight.

GL with whatever you play.

Who would've thought that Mussina and Pettitte would be the Yanks "aces" this year, particularly after Moose was relegated to the bullpen last season and all the HGH/Steroid stuff w/Pettitte.

How do the Sox suck ass against lefties, they are 19-7 in their last 26 games vs. a left-handed starter.

Have a three unit play in... the stats about Boston vs LHP scare me a bit, but I still like my odds with plus money.

Besides, even if Wake leaves the game up two-three runs Boston's pen is more than capable of blowing the game.

Oki threw 14 pitches tonight and will be available for maybe an inning tomorrow but other than that you're looking at Hansen, Masterson, Timlin. The only guy that I don't have pretty good confidence that he will get lit up is Masterson.

If you weigh pens heavily in betting you have to at least be looking at New York for tomorrow. Their pen has been fantastic lately, and even though Mo likely won't pitch they still have the edge.
