I've been leveling accusations against you for padding your record during the 2001 NFL season. I am going to bump up your posted picks, since you have been bumping up old selections of mine, during that year and have them moved to the rubber room and see if the numbers add up or if they are off. Anyone that wants to check them can as they will be in the rubber room.

If I fail to show beyond a reasonable doubt that your were padding your record I will not only issue an apology to you in both the rubber room and the NFL forum, I will have myself banned from posting at the Rx for the entire 2003 NFL season.

If, on the other hand, I show that a pattern can be clearly seen of fudging the figures from Week One on, you agree to be banned from posting at the Rx for one week, your choice, during the 2003 NFL season.

We can have posters vote on it and then maybe a mod can make the final decision. You can accept or decline. It's your choice.

You guys would never agree on the "proof" anyway...a pattern to one person might be a mistake to another...I don't see anyway this accomplishes anything, except to stir the pot some more...have to agree w/ID and say it's a better idea to drop it and move on...

I track numerous people on the net with simple software for some statistical theories that I am working on. Panther's stated record is off, and relatively far off from what he has posted. There is no way in hell that Panther would take this bet, and I think we should just leave it at that and move on, truth be told. I congratulate the numerous cappers that are honest and post very accurate records.

Well guys, I tried. I gave him a chance to prove me wrong and he declined. That's too bad because if someone would have leveled an accusation like that against me I would have taken it upon myself to prove them wrong because all you have here is your word. You can't look someone in the eye or shake their hand so your word is everything. At least it is to me.

If someone said I was padding my record I would have bumped up the posts myself. It wouldn't have been left in the hands of a moderator or anyone else for that matter. Because my word means everything. I guess some people don't take it that seriously.

So the record padding matter is officially dropped, unless padther still wants to take me up on my previous offer. Anytime Duane wants to prove me wrong and possibly have me banned the offer is still on the table. Until then, case closed.
