I only am aware of Hawaii facts (although I heard Florida has a decent QB)

- we have a new coach (this is probably the biggest factor in capping this one)

- Our preseason #1 QB was on academic probation, and will not fly up to florida

- Our #2 QB (beat out the next 3 after #1 was out) has tenderness in his arm that is getting worse by the day....personally, I think he is NOT going to play

- Our #3 QB (#1 entering camp) has moved down to #4 QB

- Our #4 QB (JC Transfer) is who I predict will play....I kind of misled this cause #2-#4 were all fighting it out....just happens the winner isn't the one I think will start.

- Last year, June Jones decides to call Tebow a "system QB" when everyone in the universe calls June the "system QB" coach. I cannot think of a reason Florida did not circle this game on their calendar (to put a beating on Hawaii)

- This is the 2nd farthest a Hawaii has traveled for a football game...i saw a list of the top 5, they got blown out in each one.

- The humidity is going to be a huge factor in this game, I don't think Hawaii prepared enough for that.

- The line was thought to be around 42.....but opened at 28, and has since moved up to 35.....will it hit 42 by gameday?

- Hawaii players actually believe they have a chance at winning....this means if they keep it close for a qtr, they might end up hanging around for longer than we think.....however, if they go down early (big plays), they might get shock value and hang their heads

enough rambling....i think UF is the play but I think being the homer I am, it is either take points or pass......

thoughts?

With everything you said, I would have tought you weren't a homer, but for fun go to BM and put a $1 on Hawaii ML at +10000. The worst case you'll lose a $1, best case you'll get a $100. If you don't want to play the side then I think the under will be a better play. GL with your play though.

Florida has a lot of guys out for this game. Even so Im looking at 52-17 which puts it at 35. Seeing at lot of lines at 35.5 and 36 now. I havent seen a total, but if it is under 71 then I'd look to that. I'll also be very interested in UFs team total.

I like the under too

The heat could play a factor. I expect a lot of cramping on both sides.

It is hot and it is humid in hawaii...

...i believe the swamp will be more hot and more humid. Game is gonna be 12:30 pm florida time...that is 6:30am for Hawaii. Jet Lag will loom large

Georgia beat the "Good" Hawaii team 42-10 in the Sugar bowl last year. This is the bad version of Hawaii and I expect Florida to go up big in the first half and then slack off resting their starters.

Florida can't deal with losing any more players and I don't expect themt o run up the score against a poor team like Hawaii. I think something in the 45-10 range is realistic and under 71 seems awful likely.

I don't see Hawaii putting up over 21 against Florida's D which means Florida needs to score 50 alone to cover the Under. That just isn't going to happen with Florida playing it safe and all the injuries they have.

Take the under as the Georgia boy said. (BTW, I am a georgia boy as well! UGA 1989-1994)

I like the under in this game

June Jones no longer a coach at hawaii, so i don't see florida running up the score unless tebow decides for another run at the heisman. i could see a quick 21-0 score with 3 straight scoring drives. if anything, would play under for the game or florida 1st half.
