OK What Would You Do?????

So I had this friend in college that would get all these tickets to concerts, sporting events etc....than sell them on ebay for like double what he paid because they were always great seats. Back then he used to use my home address to ship the tickets..usually their was a max 4 tix per person so he would use my name and address to get additional...Well I havent talked to the kid in about 3 years and just got 6 tickets to Garth Brooks at the Staples Center about 2 weeks ago...I tried to get in contact with him but he is MIA..Well I ended up selling the tix for about 700 all together and received the money and mailed out the tickets...Well somehow his partner got my parents number...and left a message..Should I refund the money to the people that bought the tix and have the kid order replacements and ill mail him the tix back..or just be like Fuck You thanks for the free loot...i mean wtf

I think all orders are final when it comes to tickets... however he could say he never received them and have them mail them to his place and then someone in the end is going to get fucked. I say just be truthful before a bug mess happens

Just split the profit with him.

In other words, say he paid $600 for the tickets. Keep $50 (plus whatever costs you incurred in selling/shipping the tix), then give him the rest.

I work/worked in the collections biz... small claims court is a joke.. that shit you see on tv.. Judge Judy and that shit... they dont follow the same guidelines as the law... plus they pay you to come on the show, and whatever they decide, ex.. you have to pay if the judge decides you screwed them - the show picks it up.
You might be in trouble if you were selling the tickets above face value though but not sure of the law there as I'm not familiar with ticket scalping

hes just going to have the tickets reprinted and the originals voided. so the people you sold them too are going to end up pissed too when they get turned away. have fun.
