The World Poker Tour (WPT) $25,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em championship is coming to Bellagio’s second-annual Five-Star World Poker Classic in Las Vegas, April 19-23. Anyone buying in to this event by Feb. 24 will receive an invitation/seat in the World Poker Tour Invitational tournament at Commerce Casino, Feb. 25-26. . Bellagio Tournament Director Jack McClelland predicts the championship event will draw more than 250 players. I would guess about 15 people will pay 25k to enter. The remaining 200 or more entrants will win satelittes of some form or contests to get into it.
