Patriots off a tough division game with the Jets....short week...new Miami Dolphins attitude...division game...

All valid points. What I think we are forgetting is the Dolphins have ZERO pass rush, went the first four games with 1 sack. I get the new coaching angle, but New England at home with an attitude?

Although the final score showed a close game against the Jets, the Patriots uncharacteristically had 13 dropped passes...they complete half of those and it's probably another New England blow out. Some were at very key points of the game. I do not see that happening tonight.

I will give Miami some props as I think their offense is one of the most under appreciated offense in the league, with huge potential. Just don't like the match-ups they will be facing in the New England secondary.

Where are you seeing all of this Miami "love" you speak of? :think2:

Line zoomed up from -7.5 to -9 and according to Sports Insights, 70% of bettors are on NE.

I believe they have started getting to the QB a lot more since firing the Defensive coordinator.

There is no doubt their new scheme is an improvement over what Philbin was trying to do. It allows Suh to freelance like he did in Detroit.

Buttttt, this young NE O-line handled the best D Line in the league last week for the "W". Where does this Miami D line rank in relation to the JETS? Not even close..

I'm seeing a lot of different sites put up each week which have drastically different views on which side the public is on. Who knows which one is right, but it seems smart to take the website with the most wagers currently. The one I've found to be the most "accurate" and up-to-date, comparatively speaking, is http://www.wunderdog.com/public-consensus.html

This site has 16,581 Pats : 7476 Dolphins wagers. That's 69% Pats and 39% dolphins. I think incubus is right.

Miami has a pass rush and have historically found ways to get to brady

Miami has been outscored 96-30 in the last 3 games in Gillette. And the sack stats in those games were: New England 4 sacks given up. Miami 17 sacks given up. Including last years 41-13 blowout where Miami gave up 7 sacks and NE gave up 0. Im not sure where your getting the "historical" info from..

Obviously this Miami team is a little different than last years team who got smoked in Gillette. So comparing historical results needs to be appropriately weighted. The angle that should be stressed is you have a QB coach going up against Belichick, on a short week, in primetime.

Sports book is showing 51.3% on the Pats.
Who ya gonna believe? Maybe they put out crap to sway you. Just like opening lines. One place will show you 7.5 and another will show 8. I found Betonline to be the opening line.
Any definite proof to show?

In most people's eyes Miami don't have a chance against the mighty Patriots, it's like David vs Goliath. Lets not forget this is a prime time divisional match up with a team that just played a physical game against the Jets, on the other side you have a team who is flying all over the field playing for there new coach. This will be an entertaining hard hitting Thursday night game. I think Miami will keep this game close enough for the cover.

SUH has been playing up to his potential. Watched the highlights last night on NFL channel. He is looking better than he was a DET. What a difference living in the land of sun and fun.

Don't listen to me. I'm a homer fins fan living in the past. We used to get to brady but not so much in recent years. Hopefully this defensive rejuvenation will allowed wake and vernon a few opportunities tonight

I saw the game quite differently. I thought the Jets defensive line dominated the Patriots offensive line throughout. The Patriots abandoned the run immediately, allowed three sacks and tons of pressure. Brady, per usual, saved them with his legendary pocket presence, which is massively masking how poor the Patriots offensive line truly is.

I'm curious to see how this MIA team will respond for Dan Campbell if they start losing early and after this game if they get their butts whooped.
