It's been asked many times.

Personally, I've never answered.

It varies per site.

All I can tell & probably get away with is that it used to pay much more. Now it's much less.

$4,000 or more per month for some back in the day before all of the restrictions & several sponsors on each site were paying $5-$10,000 each monthly.

If legalization happens, it will eventually slowly start looking up again across the board for everyone involved.
Meaning players, mods, books, and owners of sites.
It could be different types of sponsors, but they should be plentiful...

To address mods leaving.

Some do by choice, some do not have one.

I can tell you of at least one, Journeyman, who did leave back when the pay was drastically reduced.
He didn't take it very well.

When I left here & was lured to eog, it was more money

But I knew Ken well & picked up on when financial problems began, and the site began to fall apart, and was offered to come back over here (thankfully & luckily)

I've worked with many, many mods & can tell you none better than BAS....

Back in the day a MOD was possibly making close to $5,000.00-$10,000.00 per month????

I find that hard to believe.

I want to see the check.

Thanks for the kind words Hache, feel the same way with you.

Yeah I totally missed the Golden years. I had heard about those paydays... by the time I came along those days were no gone.
Even though I did find out that I was by far the lowest paid Mod when I came aboard ..

I did work with some great guys though.

But like you said these forums made much more money back then.

Think though once they legalize Gambling it will be Bigger and Better... ( you have always said that )
