Early stages, I still don't know much, but I'm learning. I've been watching the playoffs for about 7 years now, and this sport is great. Went to the Blues-Sharks game 2 and sat on the glass and had the time of my life. I really had no idea what I was in for, but after the first big check right in front of me, I decided that it's about as good as being on an NFL sideline, only closer.

Most players are tough, humble, hard-working, team-first guys. That is the culture of hockey. It is easy to root for the vast majority of the league.

It makes it unlike other sports, or the direction of society.

This says what I wanted to say. New to paying attention to Hockey and betting it, I like the level of effort I get from players and teams compared to what I get betting baseball. Very much looking forward to The Olympic Hockey and the World Cup (I guess) or whatever it is that is coming re: International Competitions.

I don't have a clue who is in the playoffs or still in the playoffs. When the season starts I'm usually surprised to find out it started

I used to casually watch but never even see it on tv anymore. We do have a 17 or 19 and under team in Lincoln called the Lincoln Starts that is fun to have a couple beers and go watch once or twice a season but that's about my hockey fill. I went and saw the New York Rangers play a few years ago and that was ok to take in but after the 1st quarter I was ready to leave.

Got great seats that were like $290 face each from a vendor/company we deal with and the guy that had just won the world series of poker was sitting right behind me. Weird how many people came over to take their picture with him.

Yes, the players are so skilled and so fast. Just watching them change directions is mesmorizing. It's like a cut in football, only they are on fucking ice skates. How do they not break their ankle every game? It was really cool to be so close.
