I Asked last year and got the most horrible help (Calif and Missouri and sleepers). I drafted them both and finished 2nd to last! come on boys!

But Ill ask again

Im in a college basketball wins only league. no post season. we draft from the major conferences including Missouri Valley all teams will be taken

if you think a college team is a sleeper for more than 3 wins over last year let me know! And Why!

And if you think a team is way down from last year, let me know, and Why

maybe you have some recent news from on campus or something, let me know!

Lets see if I can avoid the dog teams and actually get a couple of sleepers this year on my team.

I wouldnt be to surprised to see Ohio State do better this year. Athlon Sports has the as #9 in the Big Ten. I could see them end up in the top 5. New coach Thad Matta could make a big difference and they only lost one guy from last year.

Notre Dame could also be a strong team this year. They get Chris Thomas back 100%, not playing in pain as he did last year. They should be better than their 19-13 record last year.

Arizona State was a common cinderella prediction last year, but they sucked. I think this could be the year that they are towards the top of the Pac-10. They only lost one player from last year and are a more balanced club with experience for this year.

I think a down team could be Providence. They return Ryan Gomes from last year but also lost 3 other starters (40 ppg) from last years squad.

I don't know if Auburn counts as a down team since they were only 14-14 (5-11) last year but they will be worse this year. New coach Jeff Lebo was hired and 3 starters and 1 backup transferred. Another player graduated. So Auburn lost about 43 ppg from last year. They will probably start 4 guards because the tallest player is 6'6''. In the SEC the taller posts should tear this team apart.

I like Iowa this year. They finished 4th in the Big10 but with only 16 wins total. I look for them to win 20 this year. Great back court play and some solid front court players. They are also much deeper this year. Last year, they had no bench play.

I like Villanova a lot this year. All 5 starters return and the super recruiting class from two years ago are juniors now. Jason Fraser is supposedly healthy (finally) and is a beast inside. Sumpter will have a big year and I like the backcourt. This is a sleeper team in the Big East.

take a look at virginia...the acc is going to be real strong this year but uva returns almost an entire team and with the addition of an outstanding frosh pointguard, they will be MUCH improved....keep an eye on the line for the game against arizona (2nd game of season, at uva) this could be a major upset for uva....

Stomie said it first, but MSU will come very close to the Final 4 this year, if not make it. The Sched. isn't nearly as tough as 03'-04'.

yeah jimmy just read what I posted...must have been in a rush
I meant Texas A+M with Uteps coach Gillespie improving on their 7-21 record last year. They have a school record 18 home games this year

Im no prophet but Florida looks to me to be a pretty dangerous team that could possibly be overlooked because of the highly touted center that Kentucky grabbed.

Also any amount of facts you throw at the duke media will be completely ignored until they get a few games into the season. This team is headed for trouble this year and it will be interesting to see how long it takes people to realize it.

michigan played as well as anyone in the country last year the last few weeks, (winning the nit) they had an extremely young team with only one senior, who was good player but michigan will replace him easily.

this is a break out year for t amaker and his recruits. i like michigan to win the big ten and at the worst a sweet 16 appearance.

also love gtech.

for a down team gonzaga, lost a lot of talent, though a bad conference and not one you can use. nevada also lost a alot of talent, they are in trouble.
