Does double jeopardy apply in murder? If he confessed, could he be prosecuted again?

Well yes of course it applies, provided the defendant was acquitted - which Simpson was in California

And if my recollection is right, he has also already been charged under federal law for violating the rights of both Brown and Goldman, so there's no other jurisdiction that can file renewed charges

If OJ did it, then why didn't the jury convict him? It wasn't proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he did it. Case closed.

Hey, I'm just sayin'. He wasn't convicted of the murder. The real killers are out there and if it wasn't for OJ being behind bars, he'd be lookin' for them. Or at least he said he would be. He was doing a good job too covering alot of ground on them golf courses. Those killers can run but they can not hide. Go OJ!
