Looking for the Oilers to start the season with a home win. Budja didn't look solid in his last game and I don't see it getting any easier for him here. The Oilers will send out three solid lines and they'll be looking to score, I don't see Budja holding up to the pressure. Also, I think the Oilers defense will be much improved this year and will play well in front of Garon at home. I also like the competition in net and I'm hoping that it will bring out the best.

I'm with you on your choice here and especially like the over as well.

If the Bruins game was indication the Avs are forcing the forecheck, pinching a dman on occasion, and consequently creating scoring chances at both ends of the ice. These two teams have a history of putting some numbers on the board and can only see that continuing with the Oilers offensive speed and depth.

Threw the Oilers in a parlay w/the Phillies and the Cowboys. Just hope the Cowboys can get their sh!t together before they blow up my parlay.

Also took the Oilers ML, so I may need to double up by puck drop.
