Strategy And Personnel
The Bobcats have a whole different personnel look for the MAC Tournament. Head coach John Groce was infuriated by what he saw from his starting five in a loss Sunday at Bowling Green.
Groce benched his starters early in the second, none of the five played more than 25 minutes, and promised there was no guarantee any of the his starters—including his three seniors—would be in the lineup when the Bobcats begin tournament play Tuesday.
“We’re going to play the guys that are embracing what we’re trying to do,” he said
Not in the doghouse is freshman wing Steven Coleman, who finished with 10 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a team-high 29 minutes against the Falcons. Beyond him however, it appears to be wide open who else Groce might pencil in the starting lineup.
Gonna wait for the lineup, but any form of points with a team that has quit is AWFUL APPEALING @)
