Strategy And Personnel

The Bobcats have a whole different personnel look for the MAC Tournament. Head coach John Groce was infuriated by what he saw from his starting five in a loss Sunday at Bowling Green.
Groce benched his starters early in the second, none of the five played more than 25 minutes, and promised there was no guarantee any of the his starters—including his three seniors—would be in the lineup when the Bobcats begin tournament play Tuesday.
“We’re going to play the guys that are embracing what we’re trying to do,” he said
Not in the doghouse is freshman wing Steven Coleman, who finished with 10 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a team-high 29 minutes against the Falcons. Beyond him however, it appears to be wide open who else Groce might pencil in the starting lineup.

Gonna wait for the lineup, but any form of points with a team that has quit is AWFUL APPEALING @)

I dont know about that... I'm actually thinking opposite of you. I think the Ohio team comes out with a lot of intensity and will definitely play with a chip on their shoulder after getting beat by w mich earlier in the season. If they don't win this game, that will be all she wrote for the seniors, and I don't think they just fizzle out in front of what will most likely be a home crowd. I think Tillman goes off today.

Home crowd? They're playing 4 hours away from their campus. It's just as much of a home game for WMU than it is for Ohio U.

Home crowd, lucky if there are 2K for the game.

So, WMU's Seniors don't care?

I understand, but it's not like they are playing on the west coast where they have no fans. Do I the crowd is going to sway the momentum of the game... hell no, its a MAC game after all... but its safe to assume these kids are competitors and don't want to end their sports careers by just quitting. These kids are going to the NBA, so unless they jump on a plane to Italy, they won't be playing pro ball

Don't disagree with your last point.

These games don't provide the energy for a team that is trailing to comeback, it appears to me. It is tough unless you are clearly the better team.

Personally don't even know why this line is more than +2, but +4 did not hold enough value to me.

I really see this as a toss up.

Ohio settling in after going down 13-7. Now on a 14-3 run in the last 7:23. Could be a solid 2H play.
