Tradition Rivalry History BLOWOUT

Michigan is pathetic, Rich Rod has a long way to go rebuilding this ship. This looks like a 37 to 7 game to me. GL

I'm a Michigan fan, and you have no idea how much it pains me to say this.

But I think OSU is going to absolutely shred the Wolverines next week. Michigan quit on the season a long time ago...never mind the recent win over Minnesota, it was completely irrelevant. Rich Rodriguez has too many freshmen on both sides of the ball and is also trying to implement a brand new system. He just doesn't have what he needs to run his offense properly. He's got a few good QB recruits coming in next year (thank God), but that doesn't help him in this spot.

This really blows, because I'll be spending next weekend in Vegas. I don't know if I have the heart to whore myself out and bet on Ohio State, but for all you neutral types...I do know Michigan is simply incapable of playing with the Buckeyes this year. Maybe I should at least get compensated financially if I have to endure the forthcoming ass-fucking.

By the way...rivalry, schmivalry. Remember when USC was heavily favored over UCLA a few years ago and wound up winning something like 66-19? I can easily envision a scenario like that unfolding, except I don't think Tressel is the type who will really want to run up the score. If I had to predict a final right now, I'd say OSU something like 38-9.

Ugh. Think I'll go swallow broken glass now.

Get used to it.....Ohio St has beaten Mee-Chicken 5 years (soon to be 6) in a row....and it is going to be a while before Michigan snaps that streak.

Go BLOW! We LOVE Rich-Rod!!!!!

Get it before it goes over 3 TD. Also looking at the Michigan TT under. I don't see them scoring over 10 points.

:finger:

I agree with the post below.....i'd get it before it goes over 21....

On the flip side....Tress is getting pressure from the fan base to not go easy on Michigan if the opportunity presents itself...so keep that in mind...

I wouldn't expect him to run the ball 26 or 28 plays in the second half like he did against Illinois...

Not only that but he is wrong also. OSU has won 4 in a row, not 5. Michigan won the 2003 game 35-21. He must have went to school in columbus.

You are correct my friend!

Save this post for the same time next year and it'll be correct.

Seriously....about the game.....

I don't think it matters if Threet plays or not....Michigan has fallen on hard times...and this IS their bowl game....

As for the line...get it under 21. For obvious reasons. Weather is always a factor (hence last year's game resulting in all but 2 plays being runs in the second half for OSU).

As I mentioned in a previous post, Tressel is actually feeling the pressure to not go easy on these guys if the opportunity presents itself. Look for Ohio St to establish the run game early....mix in some Pryor and then coast for the easy victory.

Ohio St 38
Michigan 9

Up to 20.5 now. Really hard taking Michigan knowing they will have 2-3 TO's.

I was suckered in on UofM last year and they laid down like dogs at home.
I can say I haven't learned anything because all I keep tellin myself is how RRod can shut up critics and redeem a lost season with a W against the Bucks. I just don't know how they'll score. UofM better figure out how they hung 17 on PSU so quick and channel it.

It amazes me how teams have not roughed up Pryor. In a spread option the QB is an open target, fair game. I cannot believe that coaches thus far have not assigned DEnds to plant Pryor every play, wether he has the ball or not.
MSU didn't do it, ILL didn't do it. I dont expect UofM to do it, but they should.
I think the spread is near the final, 27-10 tOSU.

I'm Parayin UofM ML with MSU ML as a 'Pay for Pasadena' parlay. Anything can happen, right? 1 bone should get about 2600.

As an OSU alum and fan, I get so sick of the people on this board who think this is scout.com or rivals. com.

As for the game. OSU will blow UM out because, shithead Tressel thinks beating Michigan is all that matters and since the talent between OSU and UM is so unbalanced, Tressel, Heacock and Bollman can't even fuck this game up.

OSU wins 31-7. I have never been a big fan of laying points in rivalry game, but as someone stated earlier, this game is going to be the most one-sided in the past 20 years. Similiar to OSU-UM 1993, when OSU lost 28-0. Not much of a talent disparity in that game, but this year there is a big difference.

Even though MSU has lost only 1 game by more than 7 points in 2 years i think PSU is the correct play as well. MSU O Line gets overmatched against D fronts like PSU (see iowa, wisc & tOSU).

I don't know if it will necessarily be my biggest wager of the year...but Penn St -14 is for sure the play....Michigan St is very one-dimensional...unfortunately for them...Penn St specializes in stopping that one-dimension...

Look what Penn St's "D" did to Beanie Wells....he looked clueless that night...Penn St's D-line dominated that game....and they will dominate this game as well...

Penn St is the play...

the line is -21/44. i'm hammering ohio state's team total.
with these numbers it should be 32.5 points. ohio state
will have this by the 3rd qtr imo. from what i've read, richrod
is going to play 6-0, 190 lb. fr. qb. justin feagin at some point
in the game. you know when?? after michigan is down 34-?
in the 3rd qtr and they're at the point of no return. u of m is my
team. i watch every game and they've been awful on defense.
sometimes good, moretimes terrible! can't tackle for shit. lines
will be up saturday morning, 10:30ish i believe.
