Ohio State's offensive cordinator Jim Bollman's statements from yesterday:

"Our offense will not change dramatically with Smith's abscence. The offense has a broad enough scope of what is working. You never know how a game will evolve and you must be prepared for all aspects. A lot of you will have a pretty good feel for what we will do if you watched us throughout the season. You like to have a running attack the keep the ball going vertical. We are fortunate the recievers have been developing every game. The young guys really have played more and more."

Remember this a team that lost a record setting 14 players to the NFL Draft las year. This team has developed much more over the past 5 games with the young players really stepping up. Ginn and Luis Gonzalez at WR and the offensive line in particular. Remember also that Zwick didn't have either to start the season. Now he has those 2 and Holmes to throw the ball to. Zwick is not Smith and I'll take Smith any day over him. But Zwick will do a fine job I believe. Remember this was the top high school qb in the country 2 years ago. If you look at their performance the last 5 games you will see a very good team. They went 4-1 and could have easily went 5-0 if it werent for a few tipped/missed passes by the WR's in Smith's first appearance of the season. The Purdue game was where the younger guys really stepped it up and made this team what it is now.
