if you were 1 game away from hitting a large parlay using an offshore book, would you trust getting paid enough to hedge with thousands of dollars?

Depends on the book, and what you call Large

Now this is no way a plug for betonline, but I believe they have paid out some of the Biggest parlay's in the past few years..... we're talking 6 figures
Don't get me wrong. There might be others or larger, but those others don't promote it like betonline did when they were hit and paid.

there should be at least 2 threads around here that talk about it. ( they were Press releases from Betonline )

If you're dealing with an A+ or A book, there should be no problem!

Why not fly to Vegas and hedge it? If it's that big, and the last leg isn't tonight.

I don't think he's saying he's worried about getting paid on the hedge, I think he's worried about getting paid on the parlay if he wins it and loses the hedge.

In which case I agree with Akilles, try to hedge it at that book.
