Payout/Rules Key:
'Winning square' is the square that correlates to the last digit of the assigned team's score at the time of each quarter's end (if Overtime no 4th quarter payout it will be the final score). Finding winning square, the end of each quarter (or final score if OT) use each teams score at that time and taking the last number of their score to correlate the column & row of each. Where the column and row meet within the grid that is the WINNING SQUARE.
'Sides winners' are the squares that are touching the sides of the winning square (top, bottom, right & left sides). If the winning square does not have four (4) sides, then the sides that are touching will split the remaining unclaimed sides for that quarter. (i.e; a top left corner square as winning square (square 1) that square only has two other sides touched by other squares, those two touching sides will split the unclaimed two sides.
'Corner winners' rules that apply to the 4 sides rule applies here. The squares that touch the corners of the winning square (1 square diagonally per corner) are considered the 'corner winners' (i.e; imagine an X going through the winning square, continue that X out of the square. Those squares that meet at the corner are the corner squares).
Thats the gyst of it...I run this locally and its a favorite.
