Our good friends at SKYBOOK have agreed to sponsor a daily baseball contest in the BASES forum here at THERX.
The basis of the contest is going to require posters to choose any ONE TEAM (not game) on the day they think will score over 5.5 runs on the day (Coors Field games omitted).
Their will be no losing streaks and winners can collect starting at a streak of seven....... and even if they do collect, all other streaks will remain in intact.
Please understand, SKYBOOK and/or the RX will have the right to modify the rules at anytime.
This may involve such things as lowering or rising(doubtful) the run total, modifing the streaks, other minor things that could occur, etc.,etc.
Contestants will be allowed to pass on days with 3 SCHEDULED games or less. Meaning if there are 4 games scheduled and one gets rained out, that is NOT a pass day.
On days where there is a doubleheader, ONLY THE FIRST GAME WILL BE USED FOR THE CONTEST. ANYBODY CHOOSING THE SECOND GAME WILL BE CHARGED WITH A LOSS
If you choose a team in a game that gets rained out, your streak will stay alive. Very important, if the game is deemed official, the game will be graded as official for the contest.
Games are official if scored offcial.......game need not go the full 9 innings like is required for actual totals.
All games are ACTION meaning that whoever is the starting pitcher, the game is on.
All plays must be in STRICTLY on or before their POSTED start time....even if delayed for ANY reason. NO EXCEPTIONS

There will be a 4x rollover requirement for the winners.
We will have a featured thread daily in the bases forum for everybody to put their team in on that day.
Anyone who is been a registered RX member for at least 30 days is eligible to play. No accounts, or posts ups are necessary. Naturally winners will have to register at Skybook Sportsbook to make use of their winnings.
ALSO, PLEASE EMAIL SKYBOOK AT MARKETING@SKYBOOK.COM and INFORM THEM OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST. INCLUDE YOUR RX USERNAME AND YOUR SKYBOOK ACCT. NUMBER IF YOU HAVE ONE.

After hitting SIX in a row, players have the option of taking the $50 prize OR risking it all to go on for the next available prize.
As soon a player loses that player may start over the next day. Even after a loss you are not eliminated from the current contest segment.

No editing allowed. When a posting error occurs feel free to contact myself, or any other mod in a separate thread. If possible we will make corrections that do not effect your actual selection.
Contestants are encouraged to keep track of consectutive winners and post number of consectutive wins with each new play. Natrually I will be keeping records also.
If any unforseen circumstances shall occur, then the RX and Skybook Sportsbook management will make a ruling as they occur.
