Attention all Rx.com Posters planning on attending Rx Bash 2008 at The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas this August.
Each guest will be comped one double room at The Golden Nugget for the nights of Friday August 15th and Saturday August 16th..
'In order to make your reservation you must use our secure sign up page and supply a valid credit card to secure the room'.
Las Vegas residents please do not ask for a comp room as it might force us to leave someone off the comp room list from out of town.
Naturally any hotel services charged to the room will be the responsibility of the card holder to pay in full upon check out. Guests who want to stay extra nights will be responsible for paying for those nights. I will find out what rate Rxers who stay longer will be charged and inform you what that rate is in the reservation email you will receive shortly after requesting your room.
Posters can bring one guest who will have to share your comp room with you.
Posters who plan to attend need to email me at wilheim@therx.com and CC sportsavant@therx.com and person19481950@yahoo.com in order to obtain access to the secure Rx.com reservations link.
You will receive the link by email sometime within the next two weeks after you send your room request email.
All that is required in the email is your poster name spelled exactly as you use it on the forum. Please make sure all punctuation and spaces are included when you type the poster name in the email you send to us. Also include in the email the actual name that will be on the reservation at The Golden Nugget (the name on the credit card used to secure the reseveration on The Rx.com secure link). Also indicate in your email if you want a smoking or non-smoking room.
Please title the email "Rx Bash 2008 reservation request".
Note: Rooms are not unlimited so Rx management while doing their very best to accommodate everyone who wants to reserve a comp room is going to use a criteria of longevity as a poster along with quantity of posts on the site to select who the rooms go to.
We do have a large block of rooms reserved so hopefully everyone who wants a room will get one. Please make certain you are serious about attending before you request a room.
Finally, anyone who reserves a room and does not show will be charged for one night ocupancy rate against their credit card. Posters will be allowed a 72 hour grace period to contact The Rx.com to cancel in the event that you are unable to attend. Email me at wilheim@therx.com CC to sportsavant@therx.com and person19481950@yahoo.com if you need to cancel. Do not forget the 72 hour prior to Friday at 6PM PDT on August 15th. deadline if you have to cancel. This is necessary to insure that all the rooms we pay for end up occupied.
Your credit card will not be charged anything for the two Rx Bash 2008 nights. The only charges you will need to pay when checking out are for any hotel services charged to your room.
I will be posting the itinerary by early next week, sometime before the 4th of July. I will go into detail in that post regarding any contests, giveaways, special events, and time schedules.
Personally I am looking forward to our best Bash ever, The Golden Nugget is a great venue with a fine sportsbook and beautiful amenities throughout the hotel and casino. The Rooms themselves have been recently remodeled and are as nice as any used by us from past Bashes.
