Louisville has injuries and 2 suspended receivers. They should be at least a 3 point underdog.
I am friggen nervous as hell, but I think WV rolls. I like their chances. I like em alot.
LETS GO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!!!!!
The 2 suspended WRs are nothing but bench warmers-no effect. I'm with you on the nervous part. I've got a handful of things to finish up here at work, then it's on home and a couple of Heinekens to calm my nerves. I was born and raised in Louisville, and honestly find it hard to believe the football program has made it to this point. I remember sitting in an old baseball stadium in 37 degree weather, drinking more and more because they were getting rolled by Eastern Kentucky. They even talked about dissolving the program at one point.
When Schnellenberger came in, full of bravado, he was quoted as saying"we're on a collision course with the national championship...the only variable is time". Too funny at the time. He saved the program, and a lot of credit should go his way for their success today.
As far as the game tonight, I saw where the temps will be in the low 30s, with a wind chill in the mid 20s. Brohm and this offense have not looked sharp the last 2 games, and I wonder how the cold will affect his thumb. They have turned the ball over way too much recently, but were able to recover against lesser competition. It can't happen tonight or WVU will take advantage. They also have been vunerable to long kick returns against them. White gave them fits last year, leading the Eers from way back to win once he got in the game. He caught them by surprise(and probably WVU's coaches as well, since he wasn't starting). No surprise this year.
I'm too emotionally involved to play anything large, just something small, just because. Sure wish I could be up there tonight. I think the Ville will do enough to pull this one out. But what the hell do I know.

I'd wish you WVU backers and fans luck, but I wouldn't mean it.

Go CARDS!!
