I saw a graphic in yesterday's match that stated when a team goes 3-0 in their first 3 matches that it's been quite a while since that team has won the Euros. It was France that last did it. I can't remember when they did it last, something like 1988. Will Spain succumb to the same fate the Netherlands had yesterday?
Exaggerating a little there but I really do have a strong wager on Spain here. The line is soft. Its got a lot to do with Spain having never beaten Italy since forever and the belief that Spain is unreliable and Italy isn't to be underestimated, blah blah blah. It doesn't matter to me Italy beat Spain 5, 10, 20, 30, 50 years ago. Today is a new day, Spain is superior and playing better. Spain's strength in attack will not be defused by Italy's current suspect back line. Italian goalkeeper Buffon will have to be man of the match for Italy to win.
Looking at this Italian lineup I get confused if this is AS Roma playing or the national team. This isn't a good thing.
There should be goals in this one, Italy will likely score. O2, -110/-115 is a good bet as well.
