The Sens are the best team in this series, and the best team in the NHL. No reason what so ever that they shouldn't be holding up the cup here in a few weeks

I think NHL center ice is the future of this league cant see them being on national TV anymore after the NBC deal ends.

Agree 100%...IMO tickets are over priced and the die hard fans are what is keeping this league afloat. Maybe they should just make this a Canadain Hockey Leage and scale back the number of teams in the US. US fans (that dont have team in their city)have never really embraced this sport and the Strike a few years back really hurt them IMO.

5-on-5 Buffalo IS the better team.

Special Teams were completely dominating by Ott, and obviously proved to be the difference. 2 PPG, 1SHG by Ott, nada by Buf.

I can't imagine it staying this slanted - I think Buffalo will play better as the series goes on.

Fully expect the sabres to come back strong and win game 2, however, the sens do have that extra motivation of having NEVER gone up 2-0 in a series, they are something like 0-8 or 0-9 after going up 1-0 in a series. One can suggest that this is an extra reason to like the sabres on sat night, but for me its a motivating factor for the sens, they are erasing alot of past demons so far this year, and would like nothing better than to erase another one tomorrow night.

Emery should prove to be the achilles that he is in a few games, at least, but unless Buffalo special teams do a 180 real quick this series isn't going to live upto the big hype.

Love to see Winnipeg get a team back, Hockey is not a southern or western sport be cool to have 2 conferences with US and canadien teams.

Could Quebec support a team in the NHL these days could throw them in the canada conference.

Also less teams means better quality of play will never happen but the NHL expanded to much.

Everybody says Emery is a weak spot but he certainly hasn't been a weak link this postseason. He isn't a top goalie but he is certainly a middle of the road legit NHL goalie

You know your league is in in trouble when the MLS game on ESPN 2 drew more viewers then Game 1 of Buffalo and Ottawa on verses Thursday night.
