OU's OOC was an absolute joke (Chattanooga, Cincy, Washington, TCU) and Alabama not only has 1 more win than OU thus far, but has also destroyed #9 at the time Clemson on a neutral field and #3 at the time Georgia in their own house. They've also beat a very underrated Tulane team and crushed Arkansas on the road. Heck, even their win over Western Kentucky is better than OU's win over Chattanooga.

Alabama should be the solid #1 at this point, period. And WTF are the Coaches thinking having Alabama at #4? That much hate for Saban?

Alabama dominated Georgia & Oregon State had to hold on to beat USC as they got shut down in the 2nd H. Georgia also has not looked impressive in their other games while USC has. "Kind of simple really"

FWIW, I don't think Alabama is actually a better team than OU at the end of the day, but believe they deserve the #1 as of today simply based on having more wins and a much tougher SOS than OU so far.

Utah and Boise St should both be ahead of Auburn, and probably ahead of Florida too if you're just going by results. Boise St has a win on the road against Oregon, and Florida's best win is against an overrated Miami Fla team. BSU also doesn't have a loss. Now, I think Florida would kill BSU, but that doesn't matter for the rankings. Utah is also undefeated and has beat Michigan and Air Force on the road They also destroyed a pretty decent UNLV team.

No way in hell should Kansas be ranked ahead of Boise St. or even UConn. Not only do they have a loss, but they've beaten powerhouses such as Sam Houston St, Florida International, and Louisiana Tech. Yeah, I can see how impressive wins like that can earn you a top 20 ranking...
