Thanks for the tip. I really like TB tonight. Calgary has not been stellar at home the last couply of rounds so I will hold out for any + odds. Wonder if the Edmonton fans are voting for Calgary? Should be a great game.

70 some % of game 5 winners in a 2-2 series win the cup.

Hockey plays it's last game for about 2 years tonight

The stat itself has no bearing ...

what has bearing is that TB lost at home in game OT of the most important game of their franchise.

They're a gritty team that plays hard & seem like a great group of guys, but I have serious doubts that any team could effectively bounce back from that one - especially after a 3000 mile flight back to Canada.

In other words, they're going to come out in the first 8-10 minutes playing VERY desperate hockey and if they dont' strike early (which I doubt they will) then it's going to wear on them fast as the game goes on.

I am sorry for using the "R" word - and NOTHING EL

MY ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACT A STANLEY CUP VICTORY WOULD BRING TO THEIR RESPECTIVE CITIES (no disrespect intended):

A Tampa Bay Stanley cup victory would something like taking a small pebble & throwing it into a calm lake...it certainly would trickle through the lake having some kind of impact across the city...however only a small ripple effect....

A Calgary Stanley Cup victory would be something like taking that same lake...but Having Andre the Giant (god rest his soul) doing a belly flop from a helicopter....Impact would be like an explosion...

Notice the impact the Flames had on the city...long before the snow melted & the playoff run ran...

Canada should be proud. After all, any country could have an off decade.
