is anyone else noticing how slow and sluggish this site is tonight? I submitted my hockey contest picks at 7 pm and it took two minutes to finally post them, so now for the early games I guess they're late. I then submitted a note of explanation like this one that never got posted before a "Timeout" message killed it.

I wonder if this message will get posted or will it too get timed out ....

I can vouch for you as I have broadband & it took almost 10 minutes to login to the forums & get my picks in.

Thanks EGD, you are a gentleman and a scholar.

But Rules are rules and Jeff H had to throw out the 7pm-ers.

Cost me + two units but oh well, that'll teach me to wait until so close to post time before getting 'em in.
