Major reports it is.

The asap deal is completed. Some other sites are reporting that this is not the case. Hogwash. One site even quoted the "marketing director" LOLOLOL. Who is next the janitor?

CRIS has taken over ASAP, CRIS does not want this information public while ASAP is still located in Curacao for fear that sharp players wack the off numbers due to CRIS's guarantee. CRIS wants control of the lines. Quite understandable, but we here at MajorWager feel it is more important to provide the facts and news to the players as opposed to being a marketing directors puppet and have our information "sensored" by the books.

The official announcement from CRIS will be coming shortly.

ASAP is currently liquidating their eqipment in Curacao so if any book down there needs equipment , you should get in touch with R.

Can't be any more safe now with CRIS behind them, good news that everyone came out of this safely.

If this is true, this is Good stuff...

I knew they were in negotiations but it hadn't looked good at first...

I will check into this today and confirm...

Knowing Russ, I have got to believe this is the case...

I was at CRIS yesterday and they have been adamant in stating that there are talks but nothing has been finalized as of yet. Bottomline if a playASAP player calls CRIS and asks them if they stand good for his playASAP balance then, and only then, the deal is can be considered as perfectioned. If not, and that is the case as of now, then it simply means that parties are talking but they have not reached a final agreement yet.

While everyone hopes, primarily for the good of the industry, that the deal will go through I believe its hazardous to tell players to have confidence in an operation like playASAP that has a very recent proven track of problems. Thankfully all post up players are reportedly paid, and this, to ASAP's merit is good news. However the future is yet to be sealed and signed.

I just got off the phone with CRIS and here's what they had to say...

Although all the details haven't been ironed out, as Russ pointed out, it's basically A DONE DEAL...

According to CRIS, there will be specific instructions given out to gamblers who are owed money by ASAP before CRIS takes on any finanical obligation to the players...

The bail out by CRIS is extremely noble and kind, considering that no other sports book wanted to get involved at this time...

So, I'd like to give credit where credit is due and thank CRIS for helping out some gamblers who are owed money by ASAP...

Appreciate the confirmation post Ken. Not sure where these other sites get their info but I think they should re-think who their sources are. Did the guy who decides at CRIS say why he would have told Roberto otherwise?

Huge thumbs up to CRIS. People should play there to show them your support!!!

Good news. After apparently another site was involved in trying to hide the fact there was trouble at ASAP it's great to find out CRIS is involved, doubt they pick up much business with this so props to them for making the move. Thanks.

With all due respect, when I talked with Mickey today, he said he NEVER talked to you (Roberto) and he did NOT know who you were..

When I explained to him that you used to work for Royal Sports and now ran a gambling portal called Tow, he said that he remembered shaking your hand good bye...

So whoever you talked to at CRIS was not in any authority to give you the information that I received today from the horse's mouth...

I play at Cris and I have nothing but good things to say about them....the loyalty program and the amount of betting options available make it near the top of the list..

The 'other' site and its band of wanna be's will continue being nothing but just that...first to point the finger, last to look in the mirror...

it is hazardous for someone to imply that he has talked with a sports book when he hasnt

Ken,

You correctly reported I have very briefly met Mickey. I have then spent over an hour with Gary who has shared with me the information that I have posted. I have specifically asked him if I could quote his name and he has agreed. For the ones who are not aware of Gary's position within Chris, he happens to be the Marketing Director of the Costa Rica based powerhouse.

The information he has provided me doesn't seem to differ from the one you just posted since everyone is now aware that the two parties are discussing but no final announcement has been made yet.

Having said that I still believe that we shall all wait for CRIS official announcement first. Not that I don't trust your word, you're are undoubtfully the number one of all insiders and believe that even Russ couldn't say otherwise, but in this cases the deal is done when the bailout book officially announces it. At this time CRIS doesn't stand good for ASAP. And this is a fact.

I trust you will also convene that once a take over is perfectioned all latest transactions are being thoroughly scrutinized and verified. Most pre announced bailouts have lead to sour surprises, not to mention other situation, like sbuxx, in which the overall liability dramatically increased in the very last hours of operations, leading to problems, disputes, confrontations and misunderstandings some of which still remain to be solved to date.

In this respect I believe that to better serve the industry we should all pay equal respect to books and players alike, and tread with due discretion news that could potentially do more harm than good.

That said, once CRIS will officially announce the bailout we shall all cheer to the Giant stepping to the plate to save players, as CRIS would greatly deserve the whole industry's respect.

Roberto, I am curious if the CRIS bailout will affect the lawsuit that the manager of ASAP has against you in Curacao?

Thanks

No.

I fail to see how a two years old court case between current ASAP's cs manager, formerly employed by Royal who appealed in court against his dismissal from Curaworld N.V., the former owner of Royal, and the latter ( not me ) could possibly have any relation/ripercussion/affect on playASAP's current struggle for survival.

Roberto,

You have had a "HARD ON" against ASAP for several weeks. Now we know why...

Please spare this crap about me being the number one insider because it isn't true and it isn't relevant...

What does matter to me is whether or not you are intentionally MISLEADING gamblers due to your own personal vendetta against one of ASAP'S MANAGERS...

I guess the posters who have TRUSTED your word will have to decide for themselves...

Ken,

I have so much respect and admiration for you and for your accomplishments within the industry that I'd rather take a false blame than start arguing on this issue which, as we both well know, surfaced due to slow pays.

Have a good evening.

Roberto,

No need to take false blame if your intentions were pure...

Peace and good night to you too,

Ken

Well I see everyone else has finally come around. They finally see what
Roberto is all about. I dont mind him reporting the info as it is. It needs
to be reported. But what isnt reported is his underlying reasons for doing
so. Basically he has attacked everybook that has ex employee's from Royal.
This is funny. I now see he is partnered up with Peep. Thats really funny as
well. And he has Sting to let him draw off his traffic at Gambling911.com.
Dont you guys get it. He is using you people to build up his site. Because
basically he has nothing to offer. All you have to do to find out about him
is call any book and ask them. They will be happy to tell you they dont do
business with him. Thats why he spends his time with Marketing and Customer
service people. They just are being cordial and arent smart enough to give
him the boot. But ask any top guy. Like what happened at CRIS. And they have no idea who it is your even talking about. Do the same with the Shrinks name or Russ from Majorwager. And the books will go on and on about how good they are and how much they get from the sites they represent.

See people don't understand what goes on behind the scenes. But I think they are figuring it out right Shrink? I even see the General has seen the light calling him out. Its tough to get the General after you. So it looks like his run is almost over. Very few bridges left to burn. Hopefully this will all be over soon and he can go back to where he came from. And leave the real gambling to those who are actually in the business.

Sorry Roberto, But your reign of attacking people is almost over. You tried to straddle the fence too many times. Gotta go in a direction and stick with it. Take this advice and use it in your next employment that you try and hustle people in.
