Just when i though my luck couldn't get any worse , it did. Went in about 6:00am this morning to find my door was broken down, four flat screens gone, three laptops and one deshtop. They also threw paint all over the new carpet and walls. Figure it had to be kids but at the same time could be someone trying to make it look like kids.Neighbor in condo next door said she heard noise at 2:00 but didn't think anything about it.Last week customer passed away with a pretty large balance with no chance of getting. I can count only one person that died that i owed that passed away suddenly and then when i approached his widow to give her his money was questioned about it possibly being more. I have had n o less than twenty guys owe me in the last twenty years and they all owed and i didn't get or try to get a penny. Now , i have to run to Best Buy and get some computers, tv's and have the carpet taken up and the place cleaned. The worse part is my programs were in the computers with the disc's and the guy that i bought them from died two years ago. So everything by hand for awhile, which i don't mind in the least. Is it the sign of the times or are people just left with nothing to do ?^<<^

That pretty much sucks, big time.

Could be Competition ?? If not, check out your Local Pawn shops, Craigs list, etc... You just might get Lucky, and find your stuff there.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Are you not filing a police report?

The fact that they threw paint all over everything leads me to believe it wasn't a simple robbery. Something more personal...

Not trying to make fun of your situation ...Believe me i feel your pain. Having your personal stuff stolen is as heartbreaking as anything can be. But i found a very interesting story from your area. Dont think it could be the same guy...but it does show the lengths that burglars are going to as a result of this stimulated economy...

NBC -- It's a crime caught on camera that has the owners of a north Texas business going bananas.

They have security camera video of what appears to be a monkey burglarizing their business.

Ellen Goldberg has more on the bizarre break-in.

"Definitely never been robbed by a monkey before," says store co-owner Jerry Duncan.

Yes, a primate is the prime suspect in the latest break-in at this Richardson, Texas nursery.

"I said no way until I look at it and said this is crazy," said store co-owner Shelley Rosenfeld.

The owners of "Plants and Planters" are convinced that's a monkey in the bottom left hand corner of the security camera tape.

"You can see the back legs the front arms and the white head," observes Duncan.

And with the help of a human accomplice, Shelley Rosenfeld believes the monkey was trained to steal several hundred dollars worth of her merchandise.

"He went out in this section out here and handed plants over the gate," she days.

About 40 plants were missing the next morning. There were also pieces of concrete shattered in the parking lot.

"They need to train him better if he is going to do the big jobs," Duncan adds with a laugh.

For now, Richardson police are stuck with the job of figuring out who or what this is.

"I wouldn't think there would be too many monkeys in this city," Duncan says.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. That's some serious loot and damage done by bastards. I hope you hunt them down and stomp the life out of those POS.

On a similar, but less personal note. Yesterday in my fine city two stories about unusual robberies. First was two guys shop lifting at a local store. Security was struggling to detain them when one bloke pullls a piece and starts firing off rounds. POS got away.
Guy goes into auto audio store. Walks up to display and rips amp off wall. Gets chased out door and jumped in his Escalade and sped off.
Where's dirty Harry when you need him?

Broken into.

I have homeowner's insurance, it's just more trouble than it is worth to go get everything. I didn't call the police as i'm afraid there would be a lot of questions as to why there were flatscreens and computers all in one room. It is a gated condo so tomorrow i'm going to see if they have any tapes available.I treat the officer at nite that patrols the small area to a pretty good Christmas present every year. I may have to check him out a little more.I was having the place painted and it had just been finished and there were four paint cans right in front of the door. Just some a hole with nothing better to do, i hope. What goes around comes around. It sure has been a while however.d1g1t
