Do you have DVR? I rewinded it and paused it from several angles. When his lead leg first pops off the bag his rear leg is 4-5 inches from the bag while the tag is on his chest.

This is the best photo I could find of when his foot was off the base. Rear leg did not touch the base yet. When i paused my tv from the 3rd base view it's much clearer that rear leg is 4-5 inches from the bag.
