I'm fully aware of the neg and pos of this "system". I must admit I personally never use it because I feel it's silly; however, to prove a point to a friend (private message convo) I told him I'd make an on-going thread to prove my point.

He suggests that caping over/unders using this system is successful.

I told him it has high risk and low reward for me.

Anyways.. may the martingaling begin..

Day 1

40 to win 40
Baltimore/Toronto Over 10

Why? In the last 3 games the pitchers have a combined era of 18! The over has hit the past 7 times these teams met up. I keep it simple.

I'm not sure what you are chasing? If this bet loses are you just going to make another random total bet? I'm pretty sure you need some sort of criteria to chase in order to make it a martingale system.

I decided to raise my bet amount from 40 to 60 a game.

Day 2

I just want to make it clear I'm not favoring this match between Bal/Tor; however, I like the over for todays game.

Todays pitching staff isn't the best. Shaun Marcum has a 2.70 era and
Garrett Olson has a 10.20 in the last 3 games. The over has hit 3/3 times Garrett has started in the past 3 games; Shaun has hit 2 overs in the last 3 games he's started too.

Overall in the last 10 starts these two teams have had head to head the over has hit 9 times.

Currently 7-6 in Baltimore. The over hit!

Now lets hope for the under 9.5 at busch stadium if the cards slow down the runs.

Also, I might post another play in a bit.

If your bankroll is big enough you cant lose

I agree. You need two things to be successful. A large bankroll and balls of steel. If you can keep doubling up when things get rough eventually you'll get out of it and come out on top.

Final play for the day: Washington/San Fran Over 8

Zito is horrible at home. He plays better away than at home like most pitchers. Why? Home people hate him in my opinion! Zito is sporting a 6.66 ERA at home while Bergmann is sporting a 3.92 ERA.

8 total? This line is way wack. Makes me wonder. But I see a load of value in this. Plus Washington's bats are hot right now too.

That sounds good, if you plan on going with this I might just have to tag along.

You should. I want to help people and would only ask for the same.

Baltimore over hit. Cardinals Under is looking solid. And I feel pretty confident about the over 8 for the last game of the night. I'm looking to go 3-0 after the cards game (currently in 7th, total is at 4).

Anyways. We'll see! I guess you only need the Martingale system if you loose!:lolBIG:

Yeah thats a good point you might not even have to double up. Im on the Stl/Mil under as well. Im actually doing my own Martingale. I fade Jimmy Boyds daily free pick. He hit yesterday so I doubled up on the under today since he picked over. So far so good.

Day 3

Doing well so far. I'm sure the streak will come to an end soon. If so, it's time to double up! The good thing about days when games start at noon and late at night is if you have to double up you can do it in one day and go to bed with a profit instead of being on your second or third leg.

Here is my early play for Wednesday:

Oakland/Tampa Over 7.5

Oakland will be starting Greg Smith. He has an era of 4.48 away from home and an 6.14 era in his last 3 starts. As a starter in his last 10 games the under has cashed 8 times. However only one of those was set at 7.5. I think the tampa bay bats will take advantage of this era and will light it up early.

I think the total just shy of 8 will catch him this time and go over 7.5.

Tampa will be starting James Shields. He has a below average era of 2.05 at home and 3.60 in the last 3 starts.

For what it is worth in the last 5 times these two teams have met head to head the over under has alternated between themselves. ie. over, under, over, under... Wednesday... Take the over!
