For all you NCAA Tournament bracketheads out there who may have dreamed of filling out the perfect bracket, computer programmer Brannon Shadrick has determined that there are 63 games to be played and you have two choices at each stage in your bracket.
Doing the math, Shadrick says there are more than 9 quintillion possibilities. To be exact, it would be 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 possibilities according to THE TENNESSEAN.

Shadrick claims the odds are greater that you will win the lottery, be struck by lightning and bitten by a shark all on the same day.

Of course this isn't tuly the "odds" of icking a perfect bracket because every game is not a coin flip. To figure back the true odds we'd have to parlay all the ML's of all the winners. It would be much less than the odds in that article, but of course would still be astronomical.
