Plus, every Tom, Dick, Sally, and Harry has been hearing and reading about taking longshots in this race..................
Could you add my name to the group of novices already mentioned ? I'm simply looking for the horse with the best chance of taking 3 rd or better....... I need to make a $ 20 wager to get my free souvenir Tee shirt !:103631605
Note It's not free if my horse doesn't come in !

Today's Kentucky Derby is one of the most wide open races in decades, so it won't be easy to pick a horse that is assured of finishing in the top 3. With that being said, I am playing #15 Midnight Interlude whose odds are currently 10-1 at the track and likely to remain right around that number. All I can tell you is that I have been involved in horse racing since 1972 and have had my fair share of Derby winners. This horse comes into the race very sharp having won the Santa Anita Derby and seems to love this track with two excellent workouts and can run on a fast track as well as an off track. He is also trained by Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert who won yesterday's Kentucky Oaks for 3 year old fillies. Not trying to talk you into making your wager on this horse but just providing information for your consideration. Best of luck whatever you decide.
