Sorta wish the Rx lives lines would post both sides of the number on MLB totals.

What do other people use for comparing lines for free (ie. not don best).

Looking for a place that posts both sides of the moneyline on MLB sides and totals. I used to use covers, but they changed their format and now they list only one side of the number (ie favorite or dog).

Thanks.

doh,
We've actually received several requests for this ...

We'll take it under VERY serious consideration over the next few weeks.

We have not shown takeback mostly because of real estate on the page, but we do have the info.

I will considers some solutions over the next few weeks & get back to you.

GL - and thank for the feedback.

While looking at various option for comparing odds, I came across a piece of software that crawls over various books and sorts it the lines for you. It launches what's called "spiders" that mine the books for lines.

One of the advantage of this is that you get to compare the exact odds that you would get instead of the square odds that many books put out at various live line sites. This is especially useful for books that deal two sets of odds depending on whether they have labled you as a sharp or a square.

My main concern is, would this be grounds for books to kick you off? When you request a payout from a book, do they check your IP records and see if you used spiders or not?

The reason why I bring this up is because of the whole CBS fiasco. I remember reading a response from CBS saying that one of the reason why they refused to pay the guy was because he was using spiders to extract lines and was trying to scalp them.

Now, I don't have the funds to make scalping worthwhile as you have to bet at least 5 times your normal wager to make the profits worthwhile, so this isn't a concern. But I don't want to be kicked off a book becuase of a silly thing like this either.

Some books really put you under a microscope when you request a payout.

Who here uses such software? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I won't say I ever used them but can't think that is grounds to not pay you. If they knew or not. Let's see if any of the books respond on this...
