As evil and borderline anti-Christish as Bush and Co. are, I cannot imagine that they would mass murder their own people. Turn a blind eye to information that could prevent it? Maybe. But stage it themselves? That's a bit much. For one, the level of complicity required at so many levels would be staggering, and difficult to keep quiet, you would think.

They attacked the Pentagon, for god's sake.
