Obama's Cabinet a diverse mix

Before leaving for 12 days in Hawaii on Saturday, President-elect Barack Obama finished his Cabinet selections on Friday.
He announced Rep. Hilda Solis, D-Calif., as his choice for Labor secretary, Rep. Ray LaHood for Transportation secretary and former Dallas mayor Ron Kirk as U.S. trade representative.
Overall, Obama has picked five women, four blacks, three Hispanics and two Asians as Cabinet-level appointments.
By comparison, President Bush's first Cabinet in 2001 had four women, two blacks, one Hispanic and two Asians.
President Clinton's first Cabinet in 1993 had four women, four blacks and two Hispanics.

Here's the list so far and why I think these were all chosen by the same globalists that run the Bush administration.

Secretary of State: Hillary Clinton

Secretary of Defense: Robert Gates

Secretary of Treasury: Timothy Gaithner

Secretary of Commerce: Gov. Bill Richardson

Secretary of Health and Human Services: Former Senator Tom Daschle

Attorney General: Eric Holder

National Security Advisor: Gen. James Jones

Chief of Staff: Rahm Emanuel

These picks are certainly indicative of Washington's revolving door philosophy. But it's even more complex in that virtually everyone who serves in high government positions must toe the line of the globalist controllers who call the shots. Most are members of the Council on Foreign Relations or Trilateral Commission. If they aren't, they are usually avoiding the public exposure but agree with their globalist principles. Even those that are not knowing conspirators must at least show their willingness to be abject yesmen to those higher in power.

THE HANDLERS

Even the president must acquiesce to those who call the shots; though they never try and directly challenge the president unless he gets too far out of hand. Then subtle and not-so-subtle threats are applied, as in the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan. In every presidency there is one primary advisor designated as the president's "handler" whose job is to make sure the president complies with various "suggestions" given him in daily briefings and high level cabinet meetings. Most often it is the National Security Advisor. For the first time ever, during the George W. Bush years it was the Vice President, Dick Cheney. Here is my best estimate of past presidential handlers, starting with the Wilson administration. There are two exceptions who did not appear to be controlled.

Woodrow Wilson: Edwin Mandel House (globalist who pushed Wilson into WWI and support for the League of Nations)

Warren Harding: "Ohio Gang" (Harry M. Daugherty and Jesse Smith-non globalists, but accused of corruption)

Calvin Coolidge: non-controlled. In favor of free enterprise and resisted intervention.

Herbert Hoover: non-controlled. He was free market and anti-intervention. The PTB sabotaged his legacy.

Franklin Roosevelt: Louis Howe, Bernard Baruch, Harry Hopkins, Henry Morgenthau, Harry Dexter White, and Alger Hiss. (I can't determine who was his main handler. Roosevelt was surrounded by some many arch globalists and communists--some like Baruch, Hiss, Hopkins and White were active in both camps)

Harry Truman: George C. Marshall, (Chief of Staff, secretly a globalist)

Dwight Eisenhower: Milton Eisenhower (brother) and John Foster Dulles (high level globalist)

John Kennedy: McGeorge Bundy (OSS, CFR, Carnegie endowment, killed air support of Bay of Pigs invasion)

Lyndon Johnson: Walt Rostow (protégé of Bundy, false anti-communist who designed Vietnam war to fail)

Richard Nixon: Henry Kissinger (protégé of globalist William Elliot of Harvard; apologist for Russia and China)

Gerald Ford: Brent Scowcroft (globalist, Kissinger protégé)

Jimmy Carter: Zbigniew Brzezinski (very high level globalist, co-founder Trilateral Commission, CFR)

Ronald Reagan: George Shultz (high level globalist, Sec. of State), Frank Carlucci (CIA, Chair of Carlyle Group)

George Bush Sr.: Brent Scowcroft (former General, Associate of Kissinger)

Bill Clinton: Tony Lake, Strobe Talbot (Asst Sec. of State, Skull and Bones), Sandy Burger (NSA, Quill and Dagger)

George W. Bush: Dick Cheney (Vice Pres), Stephen Hadley (Quill and dagger, protégé of Brent Scowcroft)

OBAMA'S HANDLER

I've given considerable thought to whom Obama's handler is going to be. Although his announced National Security Advisor is former Marine General James Jones, a globalist wannabee, I'm convinced that he isn't suitable to be a director of the president's policies. Jones is a former Marine Corps commandant and was head of U.S. and NATO forces in Europe, with the title of Supreme Allied Commander, Europe. He attended the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service--staffed by CFR connected globalists who delight in indoctrinating students in international relations. Georgetown later gave an Honorary Doctorate degree to spur him onward. He is currently the chief executive officer of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute for 21st Century Energy, with a globalist agenda, and Chairman of the Atlantic Council of the United States--the premier council for pushing the US into an international integration with the EU. These are all relatively ceremonial positions but they only go to people who are in the globalist club. Jones is also on the board of directors of Chevron and Boeing--both heavily involved in the globalist agenda.

As Jones's record demonstrates, he is typical of the ambitious military yesman that has sought throughout his career to please the establishment but who has never been an innovator of globalist strategy or policy. He hasn't written any significant articles developing the global strategy. The same goes for Condolezza Rice when she was Bush's National Security advisor. She was a globalist lackey while at Stanford and actively collaborated with William Perry (who would become Clinton's Sec. of Defense) to assist technology transfers to China. But, she was a messenger girl, not a leader. Ditto for Colin Powell.

Neither is VP Joe Biden a good candidate. Biden is a bit of a loose cannon and egotist. The establishment doesn't fully trust him to exclusively follow orders, without letting his own agenda get in the way. Biden will be used to twist arms in Congress, but little else. The Vice President's staff will dwindle by a factor of 100 since the VP won't be controlling all the branches of government with his hundreds of staff.

I'm convinced that Obama's new Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel will be his handler. Emanuel goes way back with Democratic politics starting as director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 1988. He is known as somewhat of a fanatic in his private lobbying for what he wants in Congress. Some of his most notorious episodes have been documented in a Wikipedia biography: "Emanuel is known for his 'take-no-prisoners attitude' that has earned him the nickname 'Rahm-bo.' Emanuel is said to have 'mailed a rotten fish to a former coworker after the two parted ways.' On the night after the 1996 election, 'Emanuel was so angry at the president's enemies that he stood up at a celebratory dinner with colleagues from the campaign, grabbed a steak knife and began rattling off a list of betrayers, shouting 'Dead! ... Dead! ... Dead!' and plunging the knife into the table after every name.'" According to Larry Klayman of Judicial Watch, "Rep. Rahm Emmanuel, (D-IL) Emmanuel ran political interference for Bill and Hillary Clinton in the Clinton White House." I think we can expect more of the same for Obama.

As a Congressman from Illinois' 5th District, he has supported gun control, abortion, homosexual rights and even mandatory 3 months of service for every citizen in this nation between the ages of 10 and 25--just like Obama. His father was a member of the Israeli Irgun, a violent underground movement that used terror against the British in Palestine who were unfairly favoring the Arabs over the Jews. Emanuel himself served as a civilian volunteer in the Israeli Defense Forces in 1991 and may have ties to the Israeli Mossad. According to Wayne Madsen, the FBI has a Counterintelligence file on him because of his past connections with Mossad. This was presumably the reason he was forced out of the Clinton White House in 1998.

In short, Rahm Emanuel comes from a very similar radical leftist background as Barack Obama, and will have little trouble influencing the new president without Obama feeling manipulated. Having Obama's handler in the Chief of Staff position also avoids having to keep an abnormally large secret staff as VP Dick Cheney had to do--which eventually leaked out. The Chief of Staff can tap any number of assistants from the hundreds of White House staffers in the West Wing. Whereas Cheney had to insert his own people into every department of the Executive to be his eyes and ears, Emanuel can merely use his Chief of Staff position to require that all departments come through him before getting to the president.

Keeping Robert Gates in as Sec. of Defense is a key move by the PTB. Gates has successfully defused all the hatred engendered by Donald Rumsfeld, though he tows the same globalist line. Gates' presence will allow Obama to keep some conservative Republican support on the war issues that will abound during his term. However, word on the Hill has it that the Obama team will be replacing all of the second level Pentagon positions with their own people.

HILLARY'S NEW JOB AND OTHER OBAMA PICKS

Probably the biggest coup in this selection campaign was Hillary Clinton finagling her way into the Sec. of State slot. The most savvy pundits believe this was a deal brokered months ago when Hillary was offering to trade her endorsement of Obama for a position in the administration. She refused the VP slot knowing that she would be relegated to a token cheerleader position, with no seat at the cabinet meetings. I and others have supposed that she demanded the Sec. of State position because of its high profile image, huge staff, and its relative independence from White House infighting.

Technically, Hillary isn't allowed by the constitution to take a position in government. Article 1, Section 6 under the Emoluments Clause states: "No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no person holding any office under the United States, shall be a member of either House during his continuance in office." This obscure constitutional clause that prohibits members of Congress from being appointed to positions that benefit from a wage increase--which she would receive as Sec. of State. But Congress will soon pass a bill to remedy that, as it did during the Nixon administration, adjusting the salary of Sec. of State to match her existing salary.

Politically, this new position ties Hillary to Obama's fate. She won't be able to run against him if he seeks for a second term. But at least it will allow her to compete for global news coverage. This women will be a handful for the new President. I'd like to see who the PTB would pick as Hillary's handler should she ever become president--which I doubt. Though she doesn't know it, I don't think US kingmakers will ever again allow a person to gain the Oval office who tries to run the whole show--as she would.

Much of the rest of the cabinet are either political holdovers from the Clinton administration or pay offs for early endorsements of Obama. New Mexico Gov. and former Congressman Bill Richardson gets the secretary of Commerce position for both his early endorsement and his ability to pull in Hispanic support. He will also be an advocate for illegal alien amnesty. He is also the former secretary of Energy, and US ambassador to the United Nations. Richardson, like most insiders, has been made wealthy by being named to well compensated Boards of Directorships: "Richardson has served on the boards of Valero Energy, Diamond Offshore Drilling, and City National Bank. A Board position Richardson must be less proud of is his service for Peregrine Systems [military industrial company] during the time that company executives defrauded investors while paying themselves millions in bonuses and perks."

Arizona governor Janet Napolitano gets the nod for Homeland Security secretary. At first glance she appears to have some credentials as being tought on illegal immigration. She backed an Arizona law taking away the business license of any employer caught hiring illegals (on the second offense). But in reality, she did this to give the appearance of saying "We're doing our part in Arizona, now it's up to the Federal government to give us comprehensive reform" (code for amnesty). Homeland Security is a sacred cow of the Powers That Be (PTB). They wouldn't hand it over to Napolitano if she was really going to close the border and stop illegal immigration. Critics of her appointment say she has a "mixed record on border enforcement but not a shred of experience when it comes to terrorism." Since Homeland Security only goes through the motions of deterring terror, that shouldn't disqualify her in the least. She'll have a handler inside the department as do most secretaries, who will tell them "how the world works inside government."

Another disturbing pick that was withdrawn quickly was that of John Brennan for CIA director. The Brennan nomination drew heavy fire from the anti-torture Left. Although Brennan was a career intelligence operative who consistently got strong marks for his effectiveness and intelligence from people who have worked with him, was known for his support for torture. Although he claims to reject torture now, he was quick to justify and support what was done in the past. He allowed himself to serve as an independent analyst for broadcast journalists, where he acted as a shill for the administration by justifying torture and providing cover for practices ranging from waterboarding to the use of psychotropic drugs.

The unprincipled business world is relieved whenever another insider is promoted as Sec. of the Treasury. This assures a constant flow of future bailouts. Obama's pick of Timothy Geithner, head of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, to be his Treasury secretary, with Lawrence Summers as senior White House economic advisor is sure to please all those except we who know the bailout is a fraud and a scam.

The UPI notes that "Geithner, 47, became the New York Fed's ninth president in 2003, and has served as the vice chairman and a permanent member of the Federal Open Market Committee [the insider Plunge Protection Team, that illegally uses federal money to manipulate the markets], the group responsible for formulating the nation's monetary policy [Hardly-except in a sinister, self-serving way]. He first joined the Treasury Department in 1988, working under three U.S. administrations and for five treasury secretaries in numerous positions. Geithner was as an official of the International Monetary Fund from 2001 to 2003. Before joining the government, he worked for Kissinger Associates Inc. Geithner graduated from Dartmouth College and from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with a master's in International Economics and East Asian Studies in 1985." His Kissinger-and-Associates pedigree should be disturbing to all. His Johns Hopkins background in International Affairs is also a harbinger of Keynsian and globalist economic indoctrination.

Ken Silverstein is a bit distressed about Obama naming Lawrence Summers as White House economics advisor and for other insiders financial picks. And for good reason. These are people all heavily involved in the financial debacle that is collapsing around us.

Eric Holder This new pick for Attorney General is telling about the real agenda of the Obama nation. "Holder was the DOJ's second-in-command under Janet Reno and effectively in charge near the end of the Clinton Administration with Reno's failing health. The case against Holder is very strong, with his involvement in the Marc Rich pardon, pardons for FALN terrorists, the Elian Gonazles case, and more."

Tom Daschle will be the new Secretary of Health and Human Services. It is a hypocritical choice in light of Obama's campaign promises to not hire lobbyists. "For the last several years, Daschle has been affiliated with a Washington, D.C. law/lobbying firm which earned millions representing health care and drug companies before Congress [a direct conflict of interest with Health and Human Services]. More concerning than Daschle's post-Senate career is his book 'Critical,' published earlier this year in which he argues for a complete government takeover of our health care system. The book's jacket quotes Barack Obama as saying that Daschle's 'Federal Reserve for Health concept holds great promise.'"</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
