Obama would have trouble getting a security clearance for an entry-level government job

Vit: You were on Obama before the Republican's even decided on a candidate to oppose him, who are you trying to kid, certainly nobody on this board. Let's throw this one at you just for starters, are you a socialist, because if you are not how can you take a socialist over a capitalist. Obama is a socialist and it is becoming more apparent every day. Everything he does has a socialistic motive and he is destroying free enterprise and causing financial distress at every turn. Nobody is that stupid, nobody can screw up as much as he does unless that is his intention. If you don't get it you don't get it. This election pits a socialist vs. a capitalist. It is that simple, even you should be able to deal with that. Empty suit, what do you call Obama. 16 vacations, 100 fund raisers, 100 rounds of golf, how does he find time to run the country. Answer: he doesn't. He wants us to be the next and bigger Greece. Seriously any alternative is a better alternative. If you seriously feel that Obama is better than the alternative then you just don't get it. Once again, you have to go after alternative sources of informatiion, the lame stream media is bereft of unbiased info. You go to each extreme and you come to your own conclusions, that is what we all do. You simply drink at the empty trough of the lame stream media. You are content for whatever reason with the worst status quo since the great depression. You simply don't get it and unfortunately you never will.

Russ, I am not defending Vit but when did the Republicans ever have a candidate that was worth anything? All during the primaries it was a different guy every month(Bachman, Cain, Gingrich, Santorum, the list goes on). Romney was there throughout the entire process and could never get to the top until all the others just withered away. Basically, he got the nomination by default not because he deserves it or is the best candidate. Let's face it you guys can't even start a positive thread on here about Romney because you don't have anything positive to say about him except that he has to better than what we have now. When I started a thread back months ago asking you guys to give me a reason to vote for him, all you could respond was negative things about Obama and could give me no real reason to vote for Romney. Romney himself can't even say anything positive about himself. All he does is have negative ads about Obama. One thing Vit has said a few times on here that is very true and that's a lot of people still have not forgotten what happened the last time a Republican was in office and don't want to see that happen again. I am not putting total blame on Bush because there were many who had a hand in what happen during the last few years of his Presidency. But the bottom line is the average person only remembers who was in office at the time and not really who is to blame.

And before you jump on me, let me just say that I am not voting at all this year(not for President anyway) because it doesn't really matter to me who wins. I don't think either candidate is worthy and whichever gets in probably won't affect my life anyways. I will get by just fine the next 4 years and hope we get some new candidates in 2016 that are worthy of being President.

you are aware that obama used executive privilege once compared to reagan who used it 3 times and bush who used it 6 times right? he probably learned to shit on the constitution from your boys. the patriot act is the most unamerican document ever created. i wish i could remember who did that.

I feel pretty much the way you do. However, the republicans had to have the debates and democrats didn't because the are going the re-run route. Debates are what they are, how do you think Obama would have defended his record against a Dem who wants his job. It would have gotten even uglier than the republican debate because Obama would have had to defend his record and that cannot be done.

One thing you might consider is that Romney is staying above the fray and not sinking to the Obama level. Obama uses the shotgun approach and hopes he hits something, anything. I wish you would wait until the real debates come up before deciding not to vote in the presidential election. Romany will have his chance one on one and that could change your mind one way or the other. My intention is not to try to get anyone to change their vote but I want those who are hell bent on Obama to look at the facts. That is why I go to Breitbart etc. but I also keep up with the NY Times etc. With all the focus on the presidential election I hope we do not lose track of the Senate and House races, those are critical. I am not woried about myself either for the next 4 years but I am worried about my grandkids and their kids, etc. As far as your last comment goes about being "worthy of being President", Obama is the first President in my memory who thinks he "ascdended" to the presidency. I think it is his lack of humility that is the key to seeing him as a person much less as a President. If Romney is elected and turns things around they could be saying Reagon who? We know what we are going to get with Obama, more of the same.

Well look at what is happening (not happening now). Bush was no Reagan but Obama sure as hell is no Bill Clinton either. Even Bill C called Obama an Amateur, we deserve better than that. Notice I said "was" with Bush because his is history, I said "is" with Obama because he could get re-elected. We cannot do anything about Bush at this point and time but we can do something about Obama. I am not up to 4 more years of the same thing we have just gone through, we as a nation cannot afford to fall further than we already have. I am worried about future generations.
