I will tell you this. Not only will you change your vote, but your entire view on life and the world as well. Once you get into the work world you will be eyes wide open at the infutility and ignorance of co workers, bosses, subordinates, whatever. YOu will then realize that the fruits of your efforts are being recognized, and the thought of taking money or food out of your family and childrens mouths will make you sick.
You have spent you life earning, working, beleiving that there will be a nice carrot at the end of the line..you dont really know for sure, but when you get there the feeling is incredible. I remember the day I made my first 100k in a year. I had a cuban I had saved for 2 years.
YOur views on topics such as war, abortion, whatever may stay the same, but giving the things up that you have EARNED will make you vote Republican forever.
Ipods and Cell phones are not a right.
Huskyfan, if this is a true accounting, maybe you should use it as the basis for your wager with GTC and if Obama prevails Tuesday, fall back to the college vote and send your payment as a donation to the campus athletic department.

heh...My life experience was the exact inverse.
Voted with confidence for Reagan (twice) and even GHW Bush. After eight years in the workplace as an employee, I began operating my own business and with equal confidence voted Clinton (twice) and Gore. I've voted for Democratic candidates in probably 2/3 of state races since 1992.
GTC may be a wing nut at the moment, but don't presume he'll fall into the complacency of backing the Republican party as it is currently represented at the federal and most state levels.
Now, it's not impossible that the Republicans will modify some of their more absurd social stances in the coming decades and maybe then GTC and people like me will have cause to show them more support.
