Things turned tense quickly today between President Obama and Bill O’Reilly in their Super Bowl pregame interview. “OK, Bill, you’ve got a long list of my mistakes,” Obama said to The O’Reilly Factor host near the start of their 10-minute live interview on Fox. That remark — in response to a question from O’Reilly whether it was the biggest mistake of Obama’s presidency when he told Americans no one would lose their healthcare under Obamacare — was one of a number of points on which the two butted heads.

The duo sparred almost from the beginning in the interview live from the White House this afternoon. Obama also took on Fox News Channel when O’Reilly asked him about reports the IRS was investigating Tea Party-related groups for political reasons. “These kind of things keep resurfacing in part because you and your TV station will promote them,” Obama said. “When you look there have been multiple hearings.” Obama denied any corruption, just some “boneheaded decisions.”

Earlier, the Fox News host interrupted Obama with a “you’re not going to answer that?” as the President replied to a question about why he didn’t fire Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius after the botched online launch of Obamacare.

Predictably Obama duck and dodged, shucked and jived and O’Reilly was, well, O’Reilly, thinking that somehow his interview was meaningful while in reality it was much ado about nothing.

A great question submitted from a viewer was denied by Obama.

[h=2]In an apparent reversal of his past campaign statements, President Barack Obama told Fox News's Bill O'Reilly in a Sunday interview that he does not believe in fundamentally transforming America. [/h]O'Reilly read Obama a question from a viewer who asked, "Mr. President, why do you feel it is necessary to fundamentally transform the nation that has afforded you so much opportunity and success?"

"I don't think we need to fundamentally transform the nation," said Obama.

"But those are your words," explained O'Reilly.

"I think what we have to do is make sure that here in America, if you work hard, you can get ahead," said Obama.

On October 30, 2008, then-candidate Obama said at a Columbia, Missouri, campaign event, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America."

As for "if you work hard, you can get ahead" I hate to bust your bubble, Mr. President but it's always been that way. No transformation needed.

Obama looked like a stooge during that interview. I am not a big Bill O'Reilly fan but he had Obama playing dodge ball right from the start. Obama is not a man of his word. But Obama had a few balls hit him right on the forehead. Benghazi and the IRS were topics he on blames Fox for simply not giving them a pass like his lame stream media does. He lives in his own little world and he runs this country, hard to believe. We have never had a POTUS who was less in touch with the general public much less their general welfare. His agenda is what it is and in his imperial mind he does not have to explain himself to anyone.

The general public does not care about Benghazi... only the extremist nutters like yourself and Fox News. You are as out of touch as one can get when it comes to what the general public thinks.

OK I'll bite. What does the general public (and by geneal public I assume you mean Liberals) care about besides welfare and unemployement checks, food stamps, subsidies and Obama phones?

No, I don't mean liberals, I mean normal people on both sides of the aisle. They care about the economy, safety, and education. Real things that effect their real lives. Not stupid conspiracies on whether or not Obama said terror attack or not or who came to Michelle Obama's birthday party, lol. Only the extremist nutters care about that crap.

Translated that means as long as the lame stream media denies and avoids Benghazi and the IRS scandals etc, then his uniformed voters don't care about what they do not know as a result. You confuse your uninformed voters with the general public which is a matter of convenience for Obama and his apologists. Why does Fox have the biggest following, because they cover all the news and focus on the topics that the lame stream avoids.
Obama was informed that it was a terrorist attack right off the bat and blamed it on a video tape nobody ever saw. Get a grip dude, maybe you can give Obama a pass when he blatantly lies to the "general public" but those of us who know better appreciate Fox, Breitbart for sticking to their guns and demanding the truth. Oh yes, the truth, something that escapes this administration. Live in Obama's little world if you must, drink the kool aid, and call anyone who questions Obama a conspirator. Whatever. If you were in a lab you would be using binoculars instead of a telescope.

Nonsense. The country has poured an exorbitant amount of money into education and the economy, both failed. As for safety, that ship sailed in Bosten. Hell even Putin gave us a heads up on the Tsarnaev brothers and the administration still screwed the pooch.

I notice you didn't mention the biggest cluster fuck of the decade, Obamacare. I'm sure the public is just overjoyed with that gem.

Like I said before, Obamas legacy is he'll replaced Jimmy Carter in history books.

Lmao, Fox has the biggest following because there is a large group of nutters like you out there that need to be told what to think everyday. And even though they have the largest following out of cable news shows doesn't mean they represent the general public. And very few people appreciate Breitbart except the real nutters. You are completely disconnected with the general public. 9 out of 10 people in this country couldn't care less about Benghazi and the talking points that followed. Only the extremist of nutters like you, Dave, and Sheriff Joe care about such trivial things. The rest of the general public care about normal things that affect peoples daily lives. The fact you think you think the majority of the public thinks like you is hilarious. Not even the majority of Republicans think like you, lol.

Anytime I'm mentioned is the same sentence with Russ and Joe, I take it as a compliment. Conservatives rock.

Very sad. Russ and Joe are incredibly dumb people. But, I'm not shocked one bit you want to be in their category. We all knew that anyways.

Where is it documented that 90% of the country couldn't care less about those subjects? I can't find it

All hail the village idiot Geraldo Rivera!

During a tense exchange on Friday’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” Geraldo Rivera accused Bill O’Reilly of stripping President Barack Obama of his “majesty” during his highly-watched Super Bowl interview.

Rivera said the president wasn’t given the respect he deserves and as a result the interview came off as the “President of Most of the White Guys of America,” O’Reilly, versus the president of “almost everyone else.” He also criticized the TV host for referring to Obama as a “community organizer.”

“It’s not my job to be a social scientist or please you, Geraldo Rivera, who’s looking more like a cartel member every day,” O’Reilly joked. “My job is to get information. That’s my job. I got it. And I asked him the tough questions that nobody else — no one — has asked him.”

“What you did was strip him of his majesty, so to speak,” Rivera replied.

“I don’t think he has majesty! He’s not a king!” O’Reilly said, adding that he respects the office of the presidency but presidents still need to be held accountable.

Me thinks Rivera should stick to opening mob safes and wetting himself while interviewing Manson.

Do you think it's even higher? Hopefully you didn't go to ASU though... not much education in that place, lol.

Unfortunately for Obama these "uneventful" events are starting to take their toll on him and his ability to govern. The media is crucifying Christie for possibly lying about a lane closing (with no proof as of now) on the GWB? No Christie fan here but I think people are starting to wake up and the polls support that theory.

The next 2 1/2 years could go down as one of the least productive in our country's legislative history. Not looking forward to it.
