Joe Biden's stock has fallen from almost 50 to almost 30 in the last couple hours. However, I don't see where any other's stock has risen much. The trio of Bayh, Kaine and Sebelius are all trading around 13 to 17 or so.

From NBC/NJ's Mike Memoli
As Delaware Sen. Joe Biden left his home a few minutes ago, golf clubs in tow, he was asked where he was going to be on Saturday.
Biden replied, "Here" and pointed down to his driveway.
As he pulled out of the driveway in the driver's seat of his car he then said to the press gathered near his gate, "You guys have better things to do. I'm not the guy."

I think the above is why Biden's stock fell quickly, however he is still the favorite. I guess some are thinking he doth protest too much...

I honestly have no clue. Tough to say.

Hillary.

I hope I'm wrong, because an Obama-Hillary ticket would be tough to beat.

Should have been Hillary-Obama -- which would have been unstoppable.

Dems have an uncanny ability to shoot themselves in the foot.

The Dems are very good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

That's because they just can't stop talking.

If they just shut up about everything, they'd win. See 2006, it was war, war, war, war, war & war.

This year, just say "it's the economy stupid", that's it. But they think Americans are really interested in big government, and we're not.

Hillary/Obama would have crushed Mccain.

" Hillary is in charge now, and in 4-8 years Obama gains his experience and then He takes over.

Now what? Obama runs, maybe wins, maybe loses, and then Hillary runs again? Gore?

Nope, pick the guy who lost election in 2000, came on board in the senate and had 6 months experience before running.

nothing can help Obama come election day..........

Hillary's supporters aren't voting for him..PERIOD!

They are not down with his rev. wright love affair..

and his typical white person remark.....

and his race card bottom dealing of bubba.....

I really don't care if Obama wins...but let's stop pretending he and michelle are not racists............:howdy:

:smoking::cripwalk:

Oh..... it'll be that weasel from Virginia for V.P. or could it be Leslie gore?.

Look at how Obama got spanked in WVU, Kentucky, Ohio and all of the other final primary states besides Oregon. Even there he didn't get the numbers he was supposed to.

The country would clearly rather have a dem than republican now, and the Mccain campaign has been piss poor....

despite all of this, Obama doesn't even have 50% of the vote, and is not that far ahead of Mccain.

If Mccain gets his head out of his ass, or we get another, " for the first time in my adult life, I am proud to be an american", " god damnnn amerikkka" comment, then Obama is toast.

USA Today: "Obama said he wanted somebody who is 'prepared to be president' and who will be 'a partner with me in strengthening this economy for the middle class and working families'".

I think this describes Evan Bayh.

could be tonight?

No Nunn, no Kerry nobody knows

by Jerome Armstrong, Thu Aug 21, 2008 at 05:03:45 PM EST

Nunn is out of the country. I've also got good word that its not Kerry. So, back to Daschle? Maybe, or how about Reed?

Obama and about 5 people know now, and they are good at keeping the secret.

Update [2008-8-21 17:20:19 by Todd Beeton]:A friend is telling me that CNN is reporting that the announcement will come "any minute."

this was great timing by obama

hit mccain all day for the homes...announce VP.....then McCain's response (rezko) will probably go unnoticed (or not nearly covered as much) with the convention and VP announcement.

Yeah they definitely have done a good job of keeping a secret and keeping everyone on their toes. Nobody really has a fucking clue except those that actually know.

Let's see:
- Obama did seem to "slip up" and referring to his VP as a "he", so I think Hillary and Sebelius are out
- It seems the meeting with Kaine's folks was to inform that he is not the guy.
- Nunn is out of the country so he's out

Would they really send it out in the evening tonight instead of the morning? Seems strange. At this point I think they'll do it tomorrow morning around 9:30am est.

I'm hoping it's Nancy Pelosi or Al Sharpton myself.
