I love how Obama says that the President must personally cut expenses
in this recession just like everyone else - but when he
had to sign this pork-ridden bill this past week, he flew Air Force One
($57K per hour) to Indiana to give a speech, then he flew to Denver
to sign the bill, then he flew to Phoenix to give another speech.

That's over $1/2 Million taxpayer's dollars wasted on trips he could
have done from the White House.

Then, according to the Arizona Republic, instead of staying at the
presidential suite at the Biltmore Resort in Phoenix for $1600, where
every president since Hoover has stayed when visiting the area,
Obama chose to stay at the Montelucia Resort, which costs between
$3K and $4K a night.

Obama the hypocrite. Do as I say, not as I do.

Pfffft.

must have learned it from Al Gore...his home uses 20x more energy than the average american and he flew non-stop on a private plane for a year throughout the country to promote his silly documentary.

Bush didn't appear on national TV telling the world how he was
going to cut his personal expenses and waste, and then hop
on Air Force One for three straight wasteful trips in one day.

Also, instead of deflecting everything back to Bush, why not
actually address the issue at hand, and Obama's hypocrisy?

Actually I was calling the airplane a fucker but Bush being the proud poppa of 2 fine young ladies you hope would be a fucker also.

my comment is right on point! I am merely reminding the poster of the comment about Bush's idiotic wasteful trips, that he need not go back 6.5 years to find a completely utterly stupid wasteful trip that dwarfs obama's frantic state to state trotting in a bid to help rescue our country from economic disaster.

And just so we can put it in perspective one guy is trying to save a nation the other guy is dodging shoes on a trip meant to gloss over one of the biggest stain on our nations history (not to mention the enormous financial hit we took that has us in this current situation.)


Of course i could have mentioned important things like Obama did freeze an 11 billion dollar helicopter plan, he also did freeze pay for his top advisors i believe.

But please, feel free to carry on making out like half a million he spent trying to re-invigorate our economy was a wasted effort...

please carry on! (may be he should have stayed at the 60 buck motel 6, i hear that when people stay there, they come out qualified at doing complex tasks like surgery and atomic physics..

fixing the economy would be easy after a stay at the motel 6 i would imagine.
