I am by no means an economics guru. Having said that, believing in capitalism as I do I was a bit skeptical about these bailouts and handouts. After the Bush stimulus worked so well (not) I am no longer skeptical, I am convinced it’s not going to help. From what I have read government intervention in the 30’s did nothing more than prolong the agony. What makes anyone think it’s the cure now.
