Where is the outrage? Shouldn't we hand Obama over to be prosecuted for war crimes? :think2:

It would seem that the legal precedent pretty much gives a pass to US military killing thousands of Iraqi civilians during Shock & Awe, so I'm guessing President Obama is still in the Safe Zone for at least another couple years.

By that standard Bush is in the safe zone...he never came close to killing 500,000 babies in Iraq like Clinton did. :103631605

The grim question of how many people have died in Iraq has sparked heated debate over the years. The controversy dates from 1995, when researchers with a Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) study in Iraq wrote to The Lancet, the journal of the British Medical Society, asserting that sanctions were responsible for the deaths of 567,000 Iraqi children. The New York Times picked up the story and declared "Iraq Sanctions Kill Children." CBS followed up with a segment on 60 Minutes that repeated the numbers and depicted sanctions as a murderous assault on children. This was the program in which UN ambassador (and later Secretary of State) Madeleine Albright, when asked about these numbers, coldly stated, "The price is worth it."

If it was up to me, neither GW Bush nor B Obama would be using the US military to do mercenary work on the other side of the planet.

But somehow, neither was too interested in my opinion on the matter.

As for the alleged "180", I personally have never promoted the notion that Bush be tried for 'war crimes', though I know some folks have backed that idea.

He did not kill them. Obama, or God as some think of him, merely called 26 of his children home.

This Bambi cat is showing some promise.

Using drones to kill the rats that go to the funeral of a rat killed by a drone...F'kin A...it's almost poetic with it's symmetry.

"Three missiles were fired by drones as people were dispersing after offering funeral prayers for Niaz Wali," one intelligence official said referring to a Taliban commander who was one of six militants killed in an earlier drone attack.

It does have the makings of a Perpetual Motion machine.

Send in some missiles to kill some alleged "bad guys", killing at least a half dozen or more true innocents in the process.

The TMobile circle of family and friends for those dead innocents likely has at least 10 or more who will then become angry at the USA and then enlist with The Bad Guys.

Thus giving us fresh targets for the next missile attack.

Do ya think I should pull all my investment portfolio currently tied up in pharmaceutical companies and dump it into missile makers?

I just want some stability....fuck, I'm about to turn 50 and I can't be Super LawnServiceGuy forever.

Kind of funny how you reference a Taliban commander as an "alleged" bad guy...but assume some of those he hangs out with as true innocents.

Aint no innocents hangin out with a Taliban commander.

It's just like watching the FBI tapes of Gotti.

Aint no boy scouts hangin out with Gotti either.

We can save the thoroughly debunked lib fairy tale about enlisting angry innocents for a later date.

My guess is that the civilians killed in Afghanistan were either friendly allies of the Taliban or used as cover by the Taliban who like most extremist Muslims including those in Iran have no guilt in killing their own countrymen. Religion and faith do not seem to matter when there is power or wealth to be had.

If Bush wasn't being punishied for the crimes that he commited, why would Obama be punished for commiting lesser crimes?

The obvious answer would be it was only presented as a crime, by our liberal MSM when Bush was Prez.

Now it's ignored...or they never really felt it was a crime in the first place...see how this works?

Barman runs a bidness or two...he knows whats what.

I predict he flips to Republican soon...the only thing holding him back is rolling back the Drug War.

Once that is done...he's coming back home to his real roots. !~~~!

Did any of you clowns actually read the MDR that was released? this story is old news, not quite two months old.

The local mayor asked for help getting the splats out of his district, and the ANA came up with a hair-brained scheme against the advice of the MSOTs. The ANA called in the MSOTs as a QRF because they ran into trouble.

It explains what happened, who the civies were, and that the msots acted within the ROE. The first 4 strikes (including the first b-1 run) killed only splats, the fifth killed splats and maybe civies (b-1 second pass) , the b-1's final pass probably killed the most civies. The MSOTs came out "smelling like roses."

:machinegu

You can run, but you just die tired.
