true conservatives want to lead by example living a socially conservative lifestyle in their own lives as an example for the rest of their country to follow in the footsteps of and lets the states handle these tough social issues like abortion and such

Actually, im right on shaping society. No government, left right or indifferent should be involved with social engineering. With that said, Im all for strong borders, fiscal conservatism, strong defense but not offense and liberal social policies. The government is a necessary evil. And its inefficient. It shouldn't be setting the tone for social issues... that should be left to i dont know... society itself, or on a legislative level, locally.

72 million or so fetuses have been aborted since 1971. Can you imagine 72 more million legal people here? We cant sustain this country or this planet without abortion or at the very least some effective birth control. The problem is our desire to have sex and that isnt going away anytime soon. Left unchecked a population will over populate and get out of control to the point where they start to deplete the resources around them and thus a domino effect happens. Abortion isnt a bad thing in some cases, especially in those cases that are people that cant afford the responsibility that comes with taking proper care of a baby. If you remove the religious overtones and stigma, its hard to argue against it.

Its the chicken vs the egg question. Fox is the leader in the all powerful 18–49 age demographic. Are they are only putting out what viewers want to see? Or is this a social engineering project on Fox's part? I tend to think this is what society wants? People don't want to do too much critical thinking. They want everything and they want it now. They want a phone that can play music, do emails, play games and watch TV on in the airport. People want food made hot and ready to eat in 30 seconds. They want books on tape so they dont have to read. People want to play guitar and play it well the first day they by it.... without actually playing guitar!!?? So this is why you have the problems your having. The government is people. The corporations are people. Society is people. Its peoples fault.

the problem is the bigger a company gets the less of a soul it has

the more its about taking any means necessary to turn a profit and make the shareholders happy

the more the viewpoint shrinks to near term rather than long term

and liberalism sells as far as near term profits goes......

that said i have no problem with the big corporations as far as being a part of overall americana

i just hate the fact that the whole government corporate fascist setup favors them over small businesses

small business and small entrepenurs is what this country was founded on

and the fact that there are becoming less and less of them is a big reason we are going down the drain and more wealth gets concentrated at the top of the pyramid and not more equally distributed throughout society.....

people that used to own their own restaurants now have to be a manager at some chain

people that used to own their own general goods store now have to be a manager at walmart

people that used to own their own business in tech space now is a research head at a big corporation

I agree that people that are smart and capable are having less children. But that is the evolution of intelligence in people. They understand the costs and price a child costs and how too many will make them not be able to live a desired lifestyle. Its pretty simplistic. They screw around, they usually strap up. If not, they are on a pill or in the event they dont, they have an abortion. Either way, they are having less children and because its a choice. Look at the places where populations are through the roof and what type of people are having them. Africa and Mexico jump out off the top of my head. These people (especially in Africa) tend to be unevolved heathens, who are either superstitious or stupid... or a combination of both. Is this wrong to say? No, because its true and truth always tends to hurt someone. animals rut to keep their species alive and thriving. We have surpassed the animal like behavior of our ancestors. We control scarcity now. We are at the top of the food chain and left unchecked we will destroy ourselves. Just think of how many Dahmers were saved through abortion. And before you give me some nonsense about an Einstein... this is a zero sum game.
