#4 (8-5) CAROLYN M. - Last month I caught this horse's last race (a starter alw) and wondered why they stiffed her, it was apparent to me. Quick research revealed tag was expiring next week so I figured they will have to enter a claiming race next and they didn't want the horse claimed and then return to starters. Today is the day of the inevitable $5k claiming race but the plan didn't work the way they wanted because she is 8-5 on the morning line. My guess is she'll go off about 2-5. If they don't scratch her she'll probably win by 10 and be claimed away.
They should have tried the fake pulled-up, walked-off ploy.

We'll try a 50-cent pick-3 in race 6 - 2,3,5,8,10/4/1,5 ($5)

Track played even faster yesterday than the day before. Just trying to predict how the track is going to play seems to be a trick. Rain is in the forecast today. Should be interesting.

6 3-1 IT TIZ WELL - Hollendorfer looking for a soft spot for this Cali shipper. Nakatani rode Oaklawn last year very successfully.

4 4-1 OLIVIA'S UNCLE - Contreras is not a gate rider which could hurt.
7 5-1 THE GIPPER - last race was lackluster, expecting turnaround, inspect pre-race definitely.
12 15-1 INDY HILL - longshot to watch, probably should have been sprinting all along. Jock doesn't help though.

Will pays on the pick-3 are $35 and $44
